Saboia Hotel Estoril

Small rooms and much better upstairs! Try to get a balcony. The sitting room and library are cozy and welcoming in rain and sun. The cafe underneath is fabulous!

Nice hotel, simply. The rooms are colourful with comfortable beds, balcony mostly overlooking the sea, very helpful staff and even breakfast was okay. Just don't expect to receive the quality of a five-star hotel, and pay a lot less for basically the same view, same good location and definitely the same good feeling.

Saboia Hotel Estoril has a really good location in Estoril and their price is really cheap plus good and clean facilities. Could not imagine that before i went to this hotel. In my general opinion, this hotel is worth to live rather than living in some hotel with ghost appear!

The rooms are very small, but have a nice view. But there is no place to leave your suitcase open en walk around in the room. The breakfast is not really something I would like to eat for more than 2 days.

The Saboia was a 3 night, last minute deal and the price was really, really low, the staff were excellent and although the carpet in the room was grubby the bed was comfortable and clean, the water was piping hot whenever it was required and there were plenty of towels. Breakfast was adequate if unimaginative but as a bonus there was a cafe (owned by the hotel) attached, so you could purchase anything else you wanted. The location was the drawback, even with directions from Viamichelin we couldn´t find it, we asked a taxi driver and he didn't know, we resorted to asking a local man on a scooter. From the hotel it was only a 20 minute walk to Cascais, there is nothing to entertain you in Estoril, or Monte Estoril where the hotel is situated. The walk to the beach was downhill and through a smelly underpass under the train line, not a good location for anyone disabled or elderly! The swimming pool was a nice addition and had complimentary towels for guests use.

Very pleasant hotel, near the beach. I enjoy to stay in it. Good welcome.

Good hotel. Very handy for both Estoril and Cascais, both about 10 minutes walk away. Only 2 minutes from ocean.

Not a bad place to stay if you wish to combine a seaside holiday with some city sightseeing. The hotel is close to a train station with an easy trip to Lissabon. We had a sea view room on the top floor, and the view was worth the extra money. The hotel is in a walking distance from both Estoril and Cascais.

Highly recommended: its location is ideal, and the staff cannot do enough to help. First class!!
