room was available on arrival with all 3 beds as requested hotel setting lovely, beautiful large swimming pool and grounds . enjoyable stay
Thoroughly enjoyed the time there. Everything was excellent and the service from check-in to check-out was extremely friendly. What impressed me was the friendliness of Staff wherever we went. They greeted us and checked on any needs we had....not often one finds that at hotels. It was my second visit and I will definitely return and definitely stay at Sails in the Desert.

Everything is very good. The only thing is a bit pricey. Everyone was friendy and service was great. We had brekky and all were delicious. The room is spacious and comfortable. The hotel is simple and modern design, I liked it. There were many bugs in room I encountered but maybe any hotel in Uluru had it. Plus they put a note about bugs so it was a good warning.
The Kuniya restaurant food was outstanding as well as the impeccable service there. My bed and linen were beautiful with comfy pillows. Bath products were delightfully fresh and unlike any elsewhere I had been. I loved the close proximity to shopping centre and the incorporated giftshop and art gallery. The shuttle service and tour operators were great. I would stay there again.
From the window of the room, we can see tombs. It would be not good.
Too expensive for what it is, but overall pleasant stay
We were in a standard room. Loved the large size of the room and the large and thick towels. The service at the front counter was excellent.
The hotel was a little oasis in the desert and the pool very welcome in the heat of January. Only drawback was the very limited number of TV stations which you do rely on when resting inside to avoid the heat of the day.
The staff were very professional, I enjoyed my day spa with Michelle Burke she was an absolute professional, a true asset to the Day Spa..... The whole experience was amazing, I would certainly not hesitate in returning, as long as I can have the same room again. Thank you Marie Shaw
Quite a nice hotel. Large size rooms and very clean. Staff friendly. Very over priced though for the amount of time you spend in the actual room. Even though we paid the discounted rate it was very pricy.
The bed was very hard. The cups and spoons were not clean. The meal at the bar was good, but expensive. Quick drive to the national park. The staff were friendly and helpful.
There was not enough information available ahead of time. I didn't know there was a free shuttle bus to the airport, that would have saved me 80 dollars. Otherwise, the trip was delightful. thanks again...
This is a hard review to do, the 'hotel' is excellent. However the rooms are below average. It is also very expensive. That being said it is the best accommodation near uluru, and because of the locational the price is understandable.
Very nice hotel, a bit expensive and some of the staff in the eating area very slow, Especially Annoying when we had a tour to catch.
We found Sails in the desert fabulous! the room lovely! clean and well appointed, it certainly deserved a 5 star rating, the staff superb! very friendly and professional, the various restaurants a touch of sophistication and class! we are well traveled people and this place deserves as one among the best! we booked dining under the stars which is a must! very romantic! for a romantic treat etc I recommend Sails!
The best of a bad bunch, but far from the luxury resort they claim to be.
Very pleasant but a little too expensive in high season. And everything extra costs so much too.
Absolutely excellent! The facilities, rooms and particularly the swimming pool (essential after a day in the desert!) are first class.
The hotel was fine but the pricing was a bit over the top.
The staff and site were wonferful. The pricing for meals, was a bit out of our league. The other down side was that no daily bottled water was offer to guest at such an exquisite resort and paying $4.50 to $5 for bottled water was a bit on the high side. The shuttle service was a big plus to get around the various venues.
