This is where the students chat in pavement cafes. Rue de la Huchette and Rue St Severin and many other small quaint streets have restaurants and cafes. Right across the river is the beautiful cathedral of Notre Dame de Paris. Built from 1163 to 1345 its stained glass is world renowned! You can take the Metro back to the Hotel St Christophe from the station Pont Neuf or continue walking to the Louvre Museum. Formely the palace of french kings, its became a museum in 1793. Saint Christophe Hotel Paris Guest Reviews

4 out of 5

The hotel itself was very nice. They offered us a room on one of the upper floors, but asked if we would like the room on the ground floor. Being exhausted from the flight, ground floor was fine. We expected to hear some noise from outside the window through the night, but we didn't hear anything. I did hear the staff taking things downstairs in the morning for the breakfast and you do feel/hear the metro since it runs underneath the hotel, but you really have to pay attention to hear it. Otherwise, the service and the room were great. We had Wi-Fi access and there was always someone at the desk. The Place Monge metro stop was only a short block away, so we had access to everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay.

The location was good for dozens of local bakeries and restaurants, and the staff spoke English well enough to direct us anywhere we needed to go. The rooms and bathrooms were small, but compared to some of the other reviews I read, this sounds like the norm. The breakfast and the wi-fi were the only 'amenities' we used, and they worked quite well. The lift only broke on us once, but the stairs were extremely small and pretty dangerous because the hallway and staircase was dark. I would stay here again because we spent most of our time out in the city, and this was a safe, comfortable, spacious-enough room for my wife and me.

Hotel is clean, comfortable and close to the metro station. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Not too much noise from the street. We enjoyed our stay.

This hotel is close to everything, but not in the middle of everything - the street and nearby corner are quiet, which is great when you need a break from the city. Breakfast is delicious and there's a bakery and sandwich shop across the street just in case. Our room didn't have air conditioning and did get a bit hot (despite our October visit). But the room was immaculate and the shower pressure in the bathroom was amazing. Very much appreciate the free wifi too!!!

the room was small but compact; the area was great - in the Latin Quarter and near some fabulous food alleys, the metro and bus; and the Market which is there 3 days a week.. The staff were very very helpful and pleasant and we loved being able to use the hotel computer to check emails, etc. Their breakfast was outstanding.. best coffee in all of Paris! Would highly recommend this hotel

It was exactly what I expected. It is very well situated. The room was quiet. The breakfast room lacks ventilation and is a bit hot

Small but charming well maintained rooms in the Latin Quarter. No laundry service offset by laundrette around the corner 50 meters away. Easy walking access to all of Paris attractions. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Delightful hotel, lots of apartments so you see how real french people live, not just for tourists, great area to be in, close to restaurants, real french shops as in boulangerie, patisserie etc, supermarket round corner, walk to Jardins Des Plantes & many attractions. Charming breakfast room & decor real paris. Usual downside in very small lift, no aircon & hot in august, but fan provided, wonky fridge , bit noisy but hey juliette balconies off bed & bathroom - use earplugs ! Loved it

A very pleasant hotel, well situated for sightseeing in Paris and in an area where you can feel very safe when out in the evening. We have stayed there twice now.

PLeasantly surprised-was expecting a smaller hotel, but our room was ample considering this hotel is in the heart of the charming Latin Quarter district. The staff were friendly and helpful-we will definitely use this hotel again!

This turned out to be an excellent choice, for location, service and hotel amenities. I will try to book again in the future. It is well located in the Latin quarter, close to two metro stations, and within easy walking distance of the centre of Paris, the botanical gardens, and many other Paris attractions. The room was spacious and well-lit (on to a lightwell), and the bathroom was roomy and well appointed. Breakfast is served in an attractive basement breakfast room. All of the staff were courteous and helpful. The only drawback was the absence of a security safe within the room.
