Salil Hotel Sukhumvit Soi 8

A small hotel some 300 meters from Sukhumvit Rd. Away from the bustle, but still close enough for the business and entertainment if you are interested. The hotel offers a ride up to/from Sukhumvit Rd for free. I enjoyed the stay.

Nice hotel located in a good area with friendly staff and a handy golf cart shuttle to take you to the end of the street. The hotel does lack a lift though which makes staying on the top floor (4th) a bit of a trek.

Very nice hotel! We loved the fact we could enjoy a dvdplayer in our room and free dvd rentals at the hotelcounter. Nice breakfast. And also nice that they offer a golfcart ride to Sukhumvit rd. We definetely would go here again!

The room and bed are pretty big. However, the bathroom easily get wet on the floor. The location is not convenient because it is too far from the main road. Breakfast is just so-so at least not bad. You can borrow free DVD movies to see in your room if you do not want to go out.

Although the rooms are a little on the small side, this is a very good hotel in a nice quiet area but within easy walking distance of all the nightlife. Excellent will definately stay here again.

I stayed here in January for 1 week. The staffs here are perfect, from the cleaning staffs to carter guys and waitresses. Although the location of the hotel is a little bit far from Sukhumvit Rd. but you can get a free drive from the hotel to the road, and when you come back, you can call the carter guys. The rooms are newly renovated and have a modern design. I like the design and color of the rooms. I think it's well-worth staying here. If I may have a chance coming back to Bangkok, I will stay here again!

The description does not mention there is NO LIFT and my room was on the 3 rd floor-also it is right down the end of a long Soi

Very small and nice boutique hotel. Hotel rooms are very modern and nicely furnished. Staff has been extremely helpfull and friendly. Good location, short walk to restaurant and MRT.

Smaller hotel, but friendly good service. Rooms are a little small, but fully functional, nice flat screen tv and dvd player built in. No lift, so perhaps not suitable for all. Definitely stay here again.

The place was new and looked nice (but has no elevators!!) It was very deep in Soi 8. So you might have to get a (free) ride from the hotel. The people there were nice and friendly, but not professional. Bath towels smelled a bit, like they were not very clean. My bathroom had a few long hairs and old soap from the previous occupant(s). Maybe just my luck. But, still, no good excuse.

very nice location and hotel to stay, very clean, people are nice and there is a restaurant in the hotel itself which serve good food. Short walking distance to train station, restaurant, pubs and etc.
