Saltwater Shack is located on a 1200 acre wildlife bush property located on the Freycinet peninsula adjacent to the Freycinet National Park. Saltwater Shack is a relocated traditional Tasmanian two-bedroomed shack, which has been comfortably kitted out and is in a very secluded location with views over Saltwater Lagoon on Friendly Beaches.

Getting there:
From the A3 Tasman Highway take the C302 Coles Bay Road, which is signposted Coles Bay and Freycinet National Park. After 18 kms take a gravel turning to the left, signposted Freycinet Eco Retreat. Continue along this gravel road for 2 kms, ignoring a driveway on the left, until you have passed through a gateway, then follow signs to the Office.
Check-in Procedure:
Access to Saltwater Shack is gained by obtaining a key from a key-safe. The access code to the safe can be gained by telephoning the property prior to your arrival, or if you have not done this then please visit the office before following the signs to Saltwater Shack.

There is plenty of car parking adjacent to the cottage.

Children are welcome. Parents please be aware that the terrain at Freycinet Eco Retreat is bush so that appropriate steps should be taken to supervise children.
