Great breakfast buffet.
There is no facial tissue. The first night, there are no small towels. The guests had to wait for cleaning rooms about 1 hour.
The Hotel is lovely, i would recomend it to friends. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. I would have liked to be closer to the main beach where all the activities were, but I sure was happy to return to the peace and quiet of this hotel after a day at the main beach. I have an electric wheelchair as i can not walk distances, i found this hotel more accesable than others in the area.
Clean and spacious, staff is friendly. Stayed in Deluxe room, thought it could be facing swimming pool, turn out near to hill. Location along the quiet stretch of Koh Samed, taxi charter 200/300Baht to get to SaiKeuw beach. There is no sharing/shuttle-style taxi like those in Pattaya. Mosquitos in room, housekeeping came to spray insecticide.
The resort is clean and nice, but located very far from everything (1.5 km to Na Daan pier, nearest ATM, and 7-eleven. 2.5 km to Saikaew beach). You will need to use a songthaew (200 baht to Saikaew) or rent a motorbike, if you want to go to other beaches or restaurants. Resort's beach (Ao Noi Na) is ok, but Saikaew is bigger and more lively. You will also find restaurants with better service, food and prices from Saikaew beach. The free shuttle boat is very good service, and can also be used to get to Ao Prao beach, which is very nice (and you don't have to pay the national park fee).
Unfortunately i arrived after a delayed journey after a very challenging & stressfull day in my office & my mood was to say the least - not good. On the night of the 6th when inspecting the room my behaviour and attitude at the smallest of items is embarrasing to myself however on reflection i was most definately out of order and my girlfriend (Thai) made sure i understood that. Unfortunately as would be expected we received the cold shoulder for the rest of the stay, i believe rightly so, however after the first nights sleep i was settled and to be honest the Hotel was very clean and exceeded my expectations in the end. I would stay in this Hotel again and would recommend to others.
A brand new resort, it is found on the quiet northern beach of Samed.. the hotel itself is v.nice. New bungalows and amenities, great pool, restaurant right on the beachline. Breakfast is included as is more than adequate. Really impressed by the resort. The main beach with restaurants etc, Saikiew, is 25 min walk away. Alternatives are Tuk Tuk, or inexpensively hire a motorbike which are easy to drive, cost around 300 Bt a day incl petrol. Yes there are cheaper bungalows on Samed. Many old ones are very tired & grotty. The main beach is very crowded. The hotel provides a free boat, which leaves Ban Phe from Seree Pier (says Saree on this site). There are many piers, so ask for this one. The resort has an air con office at the pier in Ban Phe. Great Service. Samed Club is a great option for those with a little more money, who want a bit of peace on a quieter beach, in a modern bungalow, who are prepared to wander into town if they want to or hire a motorbike.
