Samui Cliff View Resort & Spa Koh Samui

All staff very friendly and kind . Room Service very fast . Room is clean , bathroom a bit smell , but Pool is very clean. Location is out of town but quiet and relax meet my requirement. Walking distance to local Thai restaurant - Taruo

The rooms are very nice , on a cliff, no accessible beach from the hotel (too dangerous). Breakfast is great, swimming pool too. Service at the reception is not very helpful, no shuttle bus to go anywhere after 6pm, take one hour to pay...

nice resort on the cliffs. a bit far from everything but they provide a good service of shuttle (free) only problem is that this shuttle does not work after 7 pm...maybe a way to keep customers having diner at the restaurant of the hotel.Breakfast was great..

There is no beach but the sea views are beautiful.

The hotel is situated miles from anywhere. So to get to anywhere you need to get a cab. Unless you are an Olympic stair climbing champion i would stay well clear of this hotel as the only way to get to and from your room is to climb close to 100 stairs so do not do as we did and forget something in your room and have to climb the 100 stairs up twice and down once. For some strange reason whilst designing the bathroom the decided to put big pebbles in there which is excruciating for the feet. The breakfast was nothing to write home about but the swimming pool excellent. But all in all the hotel is very cheap and clean but those damn stairs are a killer.

We really enjoyed the fact that this resort had a great selection and great tasting Western food. We also appreciated the fact that some people working there were English speaking. I would love to stay there again anytime. The view was breath-taking, the pool was awesome and the room was very inviting.

Staff were very friendly and hospitable. Very nice, modern, clean rooms. Each room has a jacuzzi :) Wonderful view, great pool, great food :) would definitely go back again!

Nice staff. Location not too convenient, pictures give the impression there is a beach, but that is actually ten minutes walk. Bathtub is spectacular though. Breakfast off season is modest.

Beware!! This place really is on a cliff!! We were about half way down, and I counted over 100 steps to get back up to the road. It very quickly becomes a pain, especially if you have a toddler. Other than that it's a 15-20 minute ride from the main drag, which is a bit of an inconvenience too: you feell a little isolated. On the whole you get what you pay for here, the problems account for the surprisingly low rate.

Breathtaking view and location..... but miles as in miles away from the main beaches, which meant we were victimized by taxis with jacked up fares! The hotel sometimes provided free transportation and the staff was always bright and cheerful. The rooms were fantastic and luxurious! The baht dollar conversion rate they were quoting was a bit inflated and I ended up paying more than I thought I would, I did get an extra night at a better rate though, but the exchange rate should be regulated.

Samui Cliff View is the perfect place to stay for luxury and romance. The breathtaking views over the water are amazing from every bungalow. This is the place to come for affordable luxury and a romantic getaway.

Good view and very clean place, but no beach to swim. Long way away from Chaweng or Lamai. Taxis charge a small fortune at night.Meals and drinks are over priced at the restaurant.Restaurant staff not well trained and hardly know any english. Recomended for older travellers....but there are these steep stairways all the way up the cliff to the lobby!!! The jaccuzzi bad tub makes up for it at the end of the day.
