Samui Sense Beach Resort

A small nice hotel, in the very center of Lamai Beach. Very quiet and relaxing. Good smiley staff. Not a single problem throughout the stay. Breakfast is a bit dull. Otherwise, a nice place to be.

Brilliant, right on the beach and the town only a short (less than 2 minutes walk!). The best staff ever, so attentive and happy all the time. Great beachside restaurant too, wonderful swimming pool and free internet!

hotel restaurant is right on the beach, part of the beach is reserved for hotel guests, while we were there the island seemed to have a few power problems but within minutes the hotels secondary generators kicked in, I would have no complaints, we were treated like royalty and I would definitely stay again if i were in that part of the world.

The superior room is quite small so if you want to have a bit of room, then the next room up would be better. The facilities and the place was great - we had our best meal in Thailand at the restaurant there.

this was a fabulous place to stay. the rooms were fantastic,cleaned every day with fresh towls.it is quite expensive compared to other places around it.would reccommend it though.would def stay there again

Beautiful hotel along the beach from Lamai. The room was very beautifully furnished in the thais style. The staff from the hotel were incredibly helpful and friendly. Last but not least the breakfast in the morning was served over looking the beach with a wonderful buffet.

Samui Sense is the perfect blend of location, price, ammenities and service. It is right on Lamai Beach and the main road with easy walking to shops, vendors, bars and restaraunts. We stayed 5 days and absolutely loved it! The staff was so nice, even allowing us to check-in early and check-out late to accomodate our flights. The resort grounds are immaculate. It feels like you are staying in a rain forest paradise on a pristine white-sand beach. The beachfront restaraunt has great food and provides a very relaxing atmosphere. Although you could bring kids, this resort seems geared towards adults. It is a very relaxing and romantic place. So parents (I'm a parent of four), dont bring your kids! We will definately stay again, it was perfect.

For the location and price I feel this was a very good hotel. From walking through other hotels in Lamai it seemed this was in the mid to top range and the price was very reasonable. USD90 per night for a double including breakfast. Breakfast was great - buffet ... American style so it could have include an Asian influence. The pool was lovely and just a hop step and jump to the beach. No complaints about service. Everybody was very friendly.

The resort is very nice, the location is superb and the staff very helpful. We stayed in a Pool Villa, which is much brighter than the Thai Villas. A new restaurant was being built but the present one is also very nice, right on the beach, and the food was good.

If you want to rent a car from the hotel, make sure you make it at least 30mins earlier before you need it as it always come very late. The stuff dont speak very good English and it causes problems of understanding.
