The Hotel San Francesco al Monte is a skilfully restored XVI century convent.
This ancient building has re-gained its former splendour and offers guests an exhilarating atmosphere.
Located in one of the most panoramic area of Naples, it is well connected to the historical centre and the whole city using nearby funiculars.
The large garden offers a spectacular view of the whole city and allows guests to walk up the picturesque hill of San Martino. The swimming pool and the Solarium, situated on one of the panoramic terraces, make the stay particularly pleasnt and relaxing.
The light and the unique colours of the city illuminate the 50 rooms created from original cells. The rooms are elegantly furnished, fitted with comfort features and, all overlook the magnificent Bay of Naples.
Excellent Mediterranean cuisine is served in the two restaurants, one of wich is situated in the enchanting panoramic garden.
The Hotel’s services are completed by 3 meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 200 people for any type of event

By Plane: The airport of Capodichino is about 10 Km away, approximately 20 minutes by taxi. Upon request, shuttles to and from the hotel are also available.
By Car: From the North, take highway A2; from Salerno, Taranto and Foggia - highway A16; from Reggio Calabria - highway A3. The highway leads to the tollway 'Tangenziale.' Exit at Arenella and continue towards Piazza Mazzini and Corso Vittorio Emanuele
By Train:
The train station of Mergellina is about 4 Km away. The train station Piazza Garibaldi around 7 KM. The Central 'Funicolare' station 'Corso Vittorio Emanuele' is approx. 300 meters. The Montesanto 'Funicolare' Station 'Corso Vittorio Emanuele' is approx. 400 meters from the hotel.
