We stay in San Gil Hotel 3 nights. Staff very nice, rooms clean, reasonable price for breakfast. only Location not close to downtown, it takes more than 15 mins walking distance. Only this issue, other very good.

A good 45min walk from the old town so not the best for that - but as we were here for only one night (after already having spent 2 nights in Sevilla), it was wasn't an important factor. Greeted with a glass of cava on arrival and was able to use the pool all day even though we had already checked out. great service!
superb location and great courtyard for relaxing and dinner
Excellent hotel - pool was great on hot days in August - maybe a bit small for serious swimming, but in 38-40 degrees really nice to have. The hotel was spotless, and the breakfasts good. I have slightly marked it down on location, because it is a good 20 minutes walk from the central shopping area and even further from the Cathedral and Santa Cruz - if you want to eat there. You can find places to eat near the pillars of Hercules and the market on Feria, if you don't want to walk too far. If you have time, try to go just around the corner to the Church of the Macarame - worth a visit - a small jewel (and surprisingly recently built!).
Very hard to find this hotel, difficult one-way traffic system in the immediate area. Very narrow streets and no parking close by, although the hotel does arrange parking in a carpark about ten minutes walk away. Lifts not operational in the part if the hotel I stayed in, although they are being installed. Avoid the restaurant for dinner; overpriced microwaved slop that would make McDonalds look attractive. Dire, and not cheap. Pleasant staff, and the hotel is reasonably located on the edge of the old town, but otherwise this is one to avoid. Better options if you look around.
It is a hotel close to the city centre and with good facilities. The only inconvenient was that most rooms have windows only to the patio or corridors, where everyone passes. Thus, either you have your curtains always closed or you lose your privacy. But, if you do not mind that it is a great hotel!
Very beautiful place - a surprising gem. A real piece of Spain. Parking a slight problem and not convenient to the main attractions. However, would go again!
Lovely place but parking a problem. We had problems with the aircon in one room and the hotel was fully booked and could not move us.
Very helpful and friendly staff available and this hotel has a much appreciated swimming pool on the roof - the pool was excellent, and very clean. I would recommend this hotel to others , and I will certainly stay here again. In fact I have stayed at this excellent hotel a total of three times! Also the breakfast selection is wonderful!
Close to supermarket and internet cafe. Didn't get a chance to go into town....
Distance from hotel to centre is a 20 minute walk, takes abit to navigate around the narrow streets so advise to get directions before you venture out.
Lovely hotel, but a bit further out of town than anticipated.
Unforturnately we just had one night at your hotel. Your location was a little bit difficult to find when you come by car, but when we arrived your hotel was a positive surprise.
Ghastly restaurant (full of mirrors and over-bright lighting). Out of the way location, much more than the 10 mins from cathedral mentioned in hotel literature. Confusion amongst Reception staff about keeping room longer than checkout time. Cramped bar area. Television didn't work properly. Excellent breakfasts, wonderful inner garden, spacious comfortable room. Not well placed for local restaurants. Wouldn't stay there again.
This is the second time I have stayed at this wonderful hotel! The hotel staff are so friendly and helpful, and the rooms are very well maintained. I especially enjoyed sitting with a drink in the orange groved patio and the use of the much needed swimming pool on the roof. (the pool could do with a bit of a clean however). I would definitely stay at this hotel again and I would recommend a stay here to anyone. One of the best places I have ever stayed.
Location is the problem with this Hotel - misleadingly it is in a part of the city that is called Central - but is not the centre where tourists want to be (ie near the Cathedral). That is all a good 20 minute walk away. But other than that it is a very nice place without being luxurious.
Very nice hotel, with lovely garden. Staff exceptional!
We found this hotel excellent, we had a room in the older part and it was very good with a sitting room off it. Bathrooms and bed linen were very clean. Breakfast in the dinning room was lovely and the breakfast excellent. Everyone was helpful and courteous and there is car parking under the hotel at a reasonable cost. Location is excellent. We would recommend this hotel and would stay there again. Typical Spanish Decor with little tiles everywhere.
We stayed in a junior suite which was very comfortable, spacious and air-conditioned. Hotel is clean and staff pleasant. Good choice of buffet breakfast, but evening meal in restaurant was limited. Rooftop pool and terrace areas are a nice bonus in a city hotel - even in November! Location is away from city centre but are an easy walk to sights, shops and restaurants. Would recommend and stay again.
