Only a few minutes walk to the beach. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and English was good. Rooms were clean and well equipped. Beautiful city!
The Occidental is very clean and spacious. A good choice, especially for American guests who are accustomed to the typically larger hotels in the US. There was a queen size bed in the room as opposed to two single beds, which was a nice surprise. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the weather was terrible, so I did not get to enjoy the pool.
