San Zulian Hotel Venice

This hotel is a basic 3 star hotel, no computers, staff tried to be helpfull, rooms very small, bathroom shower so small you can hardly turn around in it. If your unfit or over weight the shower would be a disaster. Stayed 4 days and the sheets were never changed. The air conditioning worked great and the hotel is in a great location 2 minute to San Marco. Breakfast area is small and it is hard to get a table and on 2 days they ran out of fruit.

Room on the top floor, lift only goes to 3rd floor, stairs up to the next level. Great view to St Marks square and the bell tower. Cold buffet breakfast very nice, breakfast room a bit squeezy. Staff very friendly and helpful. Easy to get to all the attractions of Venice.

Location was good, easy to find near Piazza San Marco and secure - older but with clean simple facilities. Staff were very friendly and greeted us by name on arrival. Nice breakfast included (European style: cereals, juices, rolls, spreads, cheese and meats) plus coffee/tea/hot chocolate. Mattresses could be updated. We would stay here again and recommend to others.

I was very impressed from the start; the staff were helpful, the location excellent and I dont think I can fault the hotel at all.

Great hotel, quýte lovely and really well located.

Excellent location for the sights, fairly easy to find. Our room No1 was out the back of the main hotel down a dark alleyway. You had to press a button so that reception could open the door for you. The room and shower/bathroom was on the small size, but was clean and adequate for our three night stay,[no views from windows]. Breakfast was served in the main hotel, small eating area expect to wait if hotel is busy.

Very good hotel! Rooms with an atmosphere. Small and homey in a very central location right near San Marco Piazza.

Tea/coffee in the room was the only thing missing from San Zulien, as a relatively inexpensive hotel. The staff were efficient and courteous rather than warm. The building, room and public areas were clean and well decorated. The location is fantastic, right near the heart of things a short stroll from St Mark's Square, near restaurants, shops and bars but not noisy. When I revisit Venice, the first thing I shall do is book for this hotel again.

First class hotel in an ideal location. The breakfast room is small, it was found necessary to take breakast in the room, but no additional charge was made. I would stay there again

WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THIS GEM NEAR ST.MARKS SQUARE THE SERVICE WAS FIRST CLASS - FRIENDLY & HELPFUL - WOULD DEFINITELY RETURN FOR ANOTHER STAY THERE NEXT TIME - HOPE THEY DON'T PUT PRICES UP THOUGH - VENICE IS NOT A LO-COST DESTINATION! HAVE TO RECCOMEND THE RESTAURANT ACQUA PAZZA IN VENICE - BEST WE FOUND & REALLY WORTH A TRY - DO RECCOMEND IT MOST HIGHLY- ENJOY YOURSELVES.

This hotel is excellent value for money. Rooms are comfortable and tasteful, the service is excellent and the best thing of all is it's location. The area is not too busy or noisy but is set right between San Marco (3 minutes) and Riatlo (5 minutes).

This hotel was in a fantastic location in the heart near san marco but also quite. We could walk everywhere from our hotel and the service was great. A lovely hotel
