"The staff, especially Alison, could not have been more helpful. Extremely helpful and attentive. The location was excellent. The decor is a littel dated but everything was very clean and both the bedroom and bathroom were a generous size. No lifts in this hotel but that caused no great problems. The breakfast was super and the staff eager to please and in no rush to stop serving extra coffee and toast.
The only down side was a couple staying at the hotel - unfortunately in the room next door - who argued for hours until gone 3am. This obviously had nothing to do with the staff and indeed the night porter did his best to calm the situation.
For this price you can't go wrong as the hotel is ideally suited to all shops and restaurants in the city centre.
