Located on the Vico Alto's Hill, just out of the walls of the ancient town, the Sangallo Park Hotel offers to its customers the view on a pittoresque foreshortening of Siena. Recently built, the Hotel has opened in the spring of 2000. In the summer period it will be possible to access also to our swimming-pool, placed in the park of the Hotel. The reception will offer continuative telephone and fax service, restaurant reservations and touristic information. 1,5 km far from the historical centre, easy to reach from the railway station and from the motorway, near to the Hospital "Le Scotte", renoumed congressual centre, the Sangallo Park Hotel is an optimal accomodation for any requirements. Getting there:By car: From North - Exit from the Highway A1 at "Firenze Certosa". Take the free highway direction Siena. Exit at "Siena North". At the stop Sign turn left and then take the second street on the right. From South - Exit from Highway A1 at "Val di Chiana". Take the highway "Bettolle-Siena" direction Siena, then follow the railway station signs and keep following Sangallo Park Hotel indications (Vico Alto's hill). By train: From Firenze S.M.N. railway station take the Train to Siena. From Roma take the train to Firenze, change train in Chiusi. From Siena railway station Bus n° 77 or taxi.

Nice property and well presented. The receptionist whilst very serious looking was incredibly helpful with directions to motorways and nearby restaurants. Only drawback was the towels - which were cotton sheet style. Breakfast buffet very good as was the service.
Even though it is not in the centre it has fantastic views. The distance from Siena did not bother us as we enjoyed walking. Staff helpful and friendly.

You need a car to get in the city, or use the public transp. which is NOT convenient. Excellent location for daily trips around Tuscany
Overall good facilities and location. Could have been a bit more thoughtful in providing the 2 rooms nearby instead of at each side of the building and at different floors (not really convenient for a family of 4 with 2 young kids)
A nice hotel pretty close to the city of Siena. It would be a much better hotell with a restaurant, there is only one restaurant (pizza) in the neighbourhood.
About 2 miles outside central Siena and somewhat isolated if you don't have a car. If you do have car however there is plenty of parking and Siena is a short taxi ride away. Nice pool area with a lovely view, well maintained garden. Rooms are standard 3* but are a reasonable size and air conditioned. Vey clean. Breakfast was continental stlye but very nice (4 types of croissant, cheese, meats, rolls, juices, cereals, yoghurts etc) and you can sit outside and enjoy the view. There is no restaurant but there is bar and a small but pleasant lounge area.
Hotel was good, no restaurant though so you need a car as taxis are very unreliable. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Very nice hotel and a great view. The room was spacious and it had a great buffet breakfast in the morning. The only thing is that it is quite far from the sites but we were still able to walk everywhere.
Very good choice, will use it again
This is a very good hotel, well-appointed, with good staff. Rather quiet. It is a couple of km distant from Siena, and the bus is infrequent, though punctual. It is possible to walk to Siena, as it is downhill. Coming home one has to rely on taxis which can be got easily near the main post office in Siena. There is a village beside the Sangallo Park with some facilities and shops. From those touring the countryside by car the hotel location and car park are excellent.
