"Just back from 5 days stay at the Sant'Ercolana in Perugia. We felt we were really lucky to have found it: v reasonably priced, helpful staff, reasonable facilities and breakfast, and right in the heart of the old city. The only drawback was that our room was on the 3rd floor, and one of us is 82! But the young and fit receptionist ran up the stairs with our cases when we arrived so we only had to struggle down with them. There were a number of snags with the room when we arrived - no light in the bathroom, a double bed instead of singles, - but they were all sorted out immediately and easily. I'd certainly recommend it! We also got a good deal financially by leaving our booking to 2 weeks before our stay, risky but worth it!" - Hilary Corrick

When you enter in Perugia you have to follow the indications for CENTRO (the Historical CENTER ). Following these indications you will get at Piazza Partigiani.To go to the free parking area from Piazza Partigiani you have to go up to Piazza Italia. When you enter in Piazza Italia you will see on your right the shop " Il Gioiello " . Where this shop is you have to take quickly the first street at your right to enter in Via Marzia, a street that goes down from Piazza Italia. After you have parked in Via Marzia, walking down on this street you have to take the small street that goes at your left. You will get on the stairs ( steps ) - Sant 'Ercolano Stairs. You have to go down on the steps. When the steps end you will see the indication for our hotel and you will find us in 2 seconds. We are at 3 minutes walking from Piazza Italia.
