"We arrived in to Venice very late on Friday night & were given a double room rather than a twin as booked. There was no issue from the staff & we were immediately moved to the annex of the hotel a 5 min walk away and got a much better & bigger room with a bigger bathroom. We found the staff very helpful @ all times & our room was cleaned every day & we got fresh towels every day. The location was super and we were very happy with our stay in Venice." - Yvonne Cleary

Situated in an ancient and more than 500 years old palace, the Santa Chiara Hotel is the only one in Venice which offers its guests the commodity of a private parking for the guests arriving by car or motorbike.
Facing the Grand Canal and Piazzale Roma, it is the only part of the historic centre that can be reached by car.

Outside the Santa Lucia train station, take the waterbus no. 1 or no. 82 for Piazzale Roma, the stop is 30 meters from the Hotel.
It is also possible to arrive on foot in only 5 minutes.
From Marco Polo Airport you can either take a bus to Piazzale Roma or a car taxi, both will leave you in front of the Hotel.
If you arriva by car you can reach sirectly the Hotel (the only one of venice that can be reached by car!!!). We are the only hotel in Venice with a private parking place, it must be booked in advance.
