The Santa Isabel Hotel is located in the heart of town. It is surrounded by a privileged Histiric and Artistic neighborhood, close to the Cathedral and the traditional Jewish Quarter.
It has been built within a restored noble and old Toledan House with historical references back to the year 1388 which was witness to many events of Toledo among them the fact that it was rented in 1456 to Don Pedro González, Knight Comander and Prebendary.
The hotel is in the old ward of San Antilín, today called Santa Isabel. San Antolín Street at one time joined the Cathedral with what was then the Church of San Antolín, which is today the Convent of Santa Isabel, founded in 1477.
The house was divided in two parts in the middle of the XV century. The recent restoration has kept the Main Door originally built in the XV century and retained the old structure, which itself underwent several modifications in the XV and XVI centuries.
