Good location, next to beach, rooms clean, room cleaners thorough and friendly. Breakfast good and heaps of food never runs out. Staff friendly and helpful at all levels. Doctor on site. Beautiful clean gardens and clear blue pools, good pool loungers and loungers provided on beach also. Good local shuttle service and once a day into Kuta. Happy hour does not include cocktails, unfortunately, they should advertise this outside bar Room service menu limited, bit of a language problem ordering, pool side menu very limited to about six snacks. Overall good hotel, would go back. If you want massage, bit expensive, go into Sanur, a third of the price
Hotel showing its age a bit and breakfast was nothing special. We only stayed 3 nights but found the location excellent for a chill out vacation with great pool and garden facilities. Lots of bars and restaurants in the immediate area although they were mainly quiet due to the time of year.

King-size bed or twin beds, balcony, sea views, floors 1-4 in Kresna Wing, marble bathrooms with shower
A place to relax, away from the caos of Kuta.
quite and clean, en-suites very old and rooms very average.
Location was fairly good but the hotel room was outdated with fixtures in the bathroom falling apart , TV that was probably built 10 years ago , no DVD player , a lack of internet access in our room and some aweful decor . Over several days we had to request the complementary bottled water, bath towels. The refrigerator was not running because the power outlet was dodgy. I have stayed in many 4 star hotels all over the world but this one needs a star shaved off . Stay here if you want the experience of a 1980's decor at 21st century prices. Sanur is a good place to stay but research the hotels , this one was a bit of a fizzer.
I found the food excellent. I enjoyed the scenery and landscape surrounding the hotel. I could also enjoy the swimming pool despite my handicap- I am a wheel chair bound. The stairs and the railing helped me move down to the water with a minimum help from my wife.
Excellent value for money
The hotel is a little remote from the main Sanur shopping area, but they do provide an hourly shuttle service which is useful. VERY crowded on our visit - a little difficult to get a seat for breakfast - but it was REALLY worth waiting for. An excellent quality selection.
Prices for food and drinks double compared to prices outside in bars and resturants. Hotel needs to encourage guests to stay and eat and drink at the hotel. eg, buy one drink get one free, happy hour. most hotel guests were eating outside in good resturants and bars for half the price. Hotel also bumped up gov taxes which made everything more expensive.
Excellent value in a beautiful location at the quiet end of Sanur. It is set in vast and lovely gardens with great pools.
We are a family of four with two childs belwo 11. The hotel allows us to stay in one room with twin beds and breakfast was provided for four of us. Sanur Beach offers a nice beach with kids club. So while the kids are enjoying themselves at the beach or at the kids club, we could go for massage and spa. And to go to other places such as Tanah Lok, Mt Gunung & Bersakih, we can either get a taxi or go out of the hotel where we can negotiate to get a private taxi for 8 hours at a rate of RP500,000. And this include car, petrol, driver and a guide. However we still have to pay for the various entrance fees. There are also nice eateries in the hotel or outside the hotel on the streets. We had pizzas, local dishes, Hutton wines and Bintang beer, all at a reasonable price. The hotel staff were friendly and there is a daily free shuttle from hotel to Kuta area. about 40 min away from Airport and 25 min away from Kuta Beach. Taxi fare with meter from Hotel to Kuta one way is around 75,000 RP.
We stayed here for 1 night after flying in from Sydney and before transferring to Nusa Lembongan. The check-in was efficient and friendly, the hotel and room seemed clean and tidy, the buffet breakfast was superb and although we didnt get to use the pool it looked very inviting! Great value for money and I would recommend this hotel.
Gym needs complete renovation, running machine are useless. Worst of all, garden is ruined by playground.
This hotel gives you the feeling that you are really on vacation.
The hotel was everything we hoped & expected it to be. It helped ensure that our holiday was a great success. We would certainly stay there again, although some refurbishment will probably be required in the near future.
We loved our week at Sanur Beach hotel - the staff were amazing - nothing was too much trouble! The hotel is showing it's age in places (it is 30yrs old) - but still a very high standard for what we paid. My only minor gripe was that the hot food in the buffet breakfast was never hot - I considered it minor because if you stand at the servery you could get piping hot fresh omlettes or pancakes cooked infront of you. I would definitely recomend this hotel.
Fantastic a what a gem, Lovely helpful staff, very clean and the biggest bed I have ever slept in would definatly go back. Thank you so much. xxx
Excellent Place to Stay. Pleasant Staff, great facilities with a wide variety and Good Food.
The staff are very helpful and are quick to provide any assistance required.
We stayed at the Sanur Beach for 10 days in October and found it to be a very nice place to stay. The pool areas and it's location right on the beach mean there is plenty of areas for are very spacious and not overcrowded. We found the hotel to be on the expensive side for food and drink but there are plenty of bars and excellent restaraunts within 5 minutes walk of the hotel, all of which are reasonably priced. The staff and people of Bali are very very friendly and welcoming. I would definately recommend this hotel for couples and families of all ages.
