Located in one of Lisbon’s main streets, the São Pedro Residence has been proudly serving visitors to Lisbon for over fifty years (est. 1953). Our central location makes us an ideal hotel for business or leisure trips. We stand a short walk from Saldanha Square, considered the heart of Lisbon business centre, where several national and international companies are headquartered. For recreational tourists, we are located between two Metro lines, yet the most famous monuments and museums are within walking distance. We are also close to a wide variety of stores and boutiques, and for the modern shopper, there are four major shopping malls closeby. To reach the Lisbon International Airport you just need ten minutes, as we are only five km distant. “Santa Apolónia”, the main train station, also stays at three km; access to the hotel is easy for those who are visiting Lisbon, for the first time. Getting there:By Taxi/ By Car: You need only to ask the driver to take you to Praça do Chile or Praça de Saldanha, and then take Largo Da Estefânia. Finally, take the exit to Rua Pascoal de Melo and we are at number 130. By Subway: Arrive at Arroios Station (green line) and the hostel is a 5-minute walk from the subway. Or arrive at Saldanha Station (yellow line) and the hostel is about a 7-minute walk. By Bus: You can take the bus number 22 and ask the driver for Largo da Estefânia. From Portela's Airport: You can reach the hostel by car, by taxi or by bus (number 22). From Sta Apolónia Train Station: You can reach the hostel by car, by taxi or by bus (number 6 that will take you to Av. Almirante Reis, near the Arroios subway station).

Unbeatable price-service ratio. Room was very small but breakfast was very nice.
small and dark rooms and clean but very small bathroom with not very good air ventilation. Its ok if you only want to stay over the night and spend all the day in the city. Its quite close to the airport (bus 22) and not far from the city center.

Very nice staff, allways friendly, givinglots of suggestiones for activities in Lisbon.
It was an all around average Hotel, good only because of the price, which was really very good and perhaps the location which was also not bad.
Nice place.. I spent 1 night in a small but cosy room no. 501.. One of the receptionists speaks french, spanish and english.. Breakfast so so but I was late and they let me have it so cant complain.. Very helpful staff.. Internet cafe way too dear E3/30min but WiFi in the hotel.. Very little 2person lift.. Bus 22 direct to the airport from around the corner, metro station walking distance.. Public swimming pool E1,5/h 20 mins away, a few night clubs..
The people at SaoPedro Residencial were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. Our problem was that the bathroom in our room smelled very strongly of mold and had black mold on the walls and floor. Mold and mildew is a very common allergy and both of us suffered ill health while we were there and got worse each night.

I do not recommend! very small room with window giving almost no light facing a wall.horrible smell in a bathroom! They charged us additional fee for a kid sleeping in our small twin bed without providing extra bed (no space in room anyway). Rather 2star than 3star hotel.
Extremely nice hotel, absolutely great in pricing, good breakfast and excellent service! Going downtown by taxi (taxi's stop in front of the hotel) is 5 euro. Rooms are small but perfect for sleeping and a nice stayover in Lisbon. Next time in Lisbon I will book this hotel again!
Great place to stay. I suggested this to everyone. Good price and good services. If your planning to stay here make sure to have a map not GPS or take a taxi to find this. It is hard to look for this place if your not the area since this is in the center of the city. I going to stay again here for my next visit to portugal.
that am great value for money with fine facilities in the center of lisbon.if you wish to save some money travelling and looking for a private room - pedro is the best choice
