Getting there:From the airport: When coming from the airport please follow the sign “Centrum” (center) and drive along Evropská street (that is the main motorway leading from the airport). At the end of this street you will arrive at a huge roundabout called Vítezné námesti where you turn right on to Svatovítská street. Continue driving uphill until you reach a T-junction. There you have to turn right on to Milady Horákové street. At the first set of traffic lights you have to turn left on to U Brusnice street and at the next crossroad turn right on to Keplerova street. After 250 m the Hotel Savoy is situated on the left hand side.

Firstly its not a 5* as the facilities are a little old and the rooms air con does not blow cold. It got far too hot in the night with the bathroom radiator red hot all night. Prague is fantastic. The hotel is at the top of the hill near the castle and its a lovely 15-20 minute walk downhill to Charles Bridge with fantastic views of the city. You can tram or get a taxi back after a day sightseeing. Good breakfast but only 1 small toaster! Friendly and attentive staff.
the hotel is nice but they mixed uo our reservation, we reserved for 3 people and they gacve us a double room. The hotel fixed the problem once we pointed it out but it was embarrasing for our daughter when we checked in to see no bed set up for her
Excellent hotel - use the 22 tram to get into town in 15 minutes and it's a great place to stay.
