"When I picked up a roll of tissue paper from shelf in the bathroom, it had many tiny bugs running on the tissue paper. Quite scary!
When I booked the room few weeks before arrival, I have already mentioned I need a non-smoking room on lower level and try to ask for 1st floor 4 days before arrival. However, a room on 3rd floor was given. Please note that this hotel has not lift. Walking up and down twice a day is not good for travellers." - Anonymous

"They'd managed to give our room to someone else before we arrived (his name was also Simon), so we had to wait for 45 minutes until the manager came and sorted out another room for us. After that they were good though" - Simon Varney
"Best location if arriving late by air as on airport side of city when direct access by airport express buses.....also train at end of street to get into Central Bangkok. Some food stalls in same street and more within easy walk...Quieter than many areas of Bangkok.
