Getting there:Hanmer Springs is 1 1/2 hours from Christchurch city and airport. Travel north on highway 7 towards Lewis Pass, turn right onto highway 7A, continue for 10 minutes to reach the centre of Hanmer Springs. Harrogate Street is located on your right hand side in the centre of the main street, Amuri Avenue. You will find Scarborough Lodge on the corner of Harrogate Street and Scarborough Terrace, just 3 minutes from the Thermal Reserve and The Spa. Welcome ! ! !

Very clean & handy location from Hanmer Spring.
Modern ensuite unit featuring double spa bath, king bed, heat pump, private outside area, large Lcd Tv and basic kitchenette. A perfect base to explore our alpine village.
Absolutely fantastic place to stay! Perfect end to our honeymoon...only wish we could have stayed longer. Would definetly stay here again :)
Could only pay by cash on premises and had to go elsewhere for eftpos. Was only a short walk away however. A lovely romantic get a way close to all amenities.
Very friendly people operating this lodge. Was able to provide me and my partner with everything we could do while we were there and what else there is to do there when we come next time such as horse riding etc and the tracks available. Great place to stay, very quite and very short walk to town. Amazing, would definetly stay here next time we go to Hanmer.

Very pleasant and private unit with it's own patio and garden area.The unit is tastefully decorated, very clean and comes with a private spa bath.Only a three minute walk to the hot pools.If you require peace and quiet and a handy location. this is the place for you.
