The hotel’s Leisure Club boasts a heated indoor swimming pool, spa bath, sauna and steam room plus a fully equipped air-conditioned gym. Sun bed, and beauty-aromatherapy studio. There is a choice of two excellent restaurants and several bars, including the Knights Cocktail and Barons Real Ale Bar. (Please note that the hotel is situated in a lively area). Golfing breaks are a speciality of the hotel with the wealth of championship courses so close by.

Getting there:From the South: Via the M6 to exit 26, the M58 to Exit 3, on the A570 through Ormskirk to Southport. There are brown attraction signs to Lord Street. The hotel is directly infront of you when you come to Lord Street (the historic shopping street of Southport).

Car parking:Free car park for up to 40 cars.
Child Policy:A child supplement is charged at 27.50 per child over 10yrs. Children stay free up to and including 2 years of age. Children are charged as adults from 10 years of age.
We stayed at The Scarisbrick because we were attending a wedding ceremony there and it was convenient to stay for the night also. The hotel is typical of the buildings around, built in Victorian times and is a bit "tired" compared with modern hotels but also more interesting with "wasted space" compared with efficient modern buildings
Accomodation was god and the staff were excellent
Generally a very good hotel with great service. Good leisure facilities - for instance the swimming pool. Only slight concern is the car parking situation. Very limited spaces and all guests are required to leave their keys behind reception. Not necessarily to everyone's liking.
