This is an excellent hotel. The location, the staff, the room ...... everything was first class. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dunedin.

I certainly recommended this hotel to all my friends, very clean facilities suits me fine the services were excellent especially the cleaning ladies and the morning breakfast at Carlton, reception too and the guys at the door were very helpful. I wish and hope that the hotel itself would have your own special tours for your guests. Good job guys and gals... WELL DONE.. Keep up the good works.
Enjoyable stay at a very fine establishment. A bit of night time noise from the lift shafts next to our room, but otherwise hard to find fault.

An unwashed wine glass and having to ask room service for shampoo. No big problems. The service was excellent and the fact that under cover parking is free more than made up for that.

Top quality hotel & room even though the bathroom is small. Nice room appointments. Room needs a safe as it is far too inconvenient using the one at reception. Pleasant staff with rapid check in & check out. Great location with an Organic shop /cafe opposite.

I had a wonderful stay at the Scenic Hotel Southern Cross. The beds are a luxury with goosedown mattress toppers etc. I would definitely stay there again.
