The Scenic Suites Queenstown consists of 42 studio rooms with two double beds, minibar, Sky TV, ensuite bathroom with separate shower and bath and patio or balcony and 42 one bedroom suites with superking bed in a separate bedroom, full kitchen facilities, washing machine and drier, Sky TV, stereo with CD player, lounge suite and dining suite, ensuite bathroom with separate bath and shower and patio or balcony. The studio room interconnects through a common lobby with the one bedroom suite to form a spacious two bedroom suite. Prices are for ‘Room Only’ and based upon each hotel’s entry-level room grade. Higher graded rooms are available at a surcharge. View rooms can be requested but are subject to availability and therefore cannot be guaranteed. Getting there:Follow the main access road from Frankton to Queenstown. The Scenic Suites Queenstown is located on the crest of the hill leading down to the town centre and is on the right hand side of the road. Look for the sign for the Heartland Hotel Queenstown and the Scenic Suites Queenstown.

Great suite with view of the lake limited but the plus was that it included the town so it gave a great night view. We could watch the boat come and go and walk to the town. The amenities included in room washing machine and dryer. Very quiet and very comfortable
Excellent place to stay. A great combination of being close to the centre of town, but far away enough to avoid noise.

We were welcomed by friendly and helpful staff & enoyed a nice modern looking suite with plenty of space to stretch out. We were only a few minutes walk from the shops which was really convenient (there is a short hill between the hotel and the shops but it's nothing major). I would definitely stay there again.

Other than the up hill walk (2 mins) to get home from the township this place was nice and spacious to enable us to relax after enjoying all that Queenstown has to offer.

I had used [other website] to select this hotel and the comments were mostly accurate. The corridors are quite dim and unwelcoming and there seems to be either mold or constant paint patching in the corridors. The hotel is fairly impersonal, but the rooms (suite) were large and comfortable. Our view was not good, being on the ground floor, but access to the town was fairly simple because of this. Hotel security did not seem so good as the corridor doors were unlocked at all hours, but there might not be much crime in Queenstown. The location of the hotel was good, with some suites having great views of the town and lake. Pricing was quite good value for Queenstown. The room had dishwasher, washing machine and clothes dryer, so very convenient to do some mid-holiday washing. All in all, a reasonably positive experience.
Was Pleasantly surprised as it was my first time using the scenic view hotel. All in all, it was nice, very clean ( an important factor for me), and in the heart of Queenstown, thus close to restaurants.
modern well designed layout and elevated just above township. Didnt get such a good room on first checking in but staff were very helpful in finding us a better one without charge.
Pity that located on main road, which I was not aware of when booking, as a bit noisy. My unit did have a view of the lake, but you had to go out on the balcony and look around the corner to see it. Balcony not undercover, which was a bit of a problem; as you are not sheltered from the weather. Size of unit was great but it is in need of refurbishment - couches looking a bit worn.
great suite on third floor and excellent value. very friendly service from service desk and all staff we encountered. will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Scenic Circle Aurum Hotel for 4 nights and were very impressed about the location and the suite facilities. The suites were very tidy, the view spectacular and it was only a very short 5 min walk down the road to central Queenstown. Would definitely stay again.
The restaurant food for dinner was excellent - cooked to perfection and good size portions. The bar cocktails excellent - would definitely recommend it. Close to city lovely views spacious apartments. Friendly staff........
we received a free upgrade to a suite when we arrived which was nice.
The general appearance of the hotel would improve greatly by painting the halls.
