Schweiz Hotel Munich

Easy access from the central railway station, very basic but acceptable hotel, friendly staff, roofterrace (no view though), rather small rooms, but quiet (when to inner courtyard)

The room was very small with very liitle space around the bed. There was a TV wardrobe and small table. The bathroom was tiny at about 5' by 4'. Bed and pillows were a bit tired. There was no tea making in the room but you could make tea or coffee in the lobby. The room was very clean a nd tidy.Price was highly inflated but this was probably because we stayed during Oktoberfest. Wifi internet was 2 euro per day. The dining room was bright and spacious and the buffet breakfast had a reasonable range.

Everything was fine, but room was quite narrow (it could be a problem for someone).

Well located hotel, 5 mins from the main railway station (Hauptbahnhof). Room on the side facing away from the main road a bit on the small side with no a/c although heating (for the winter months) exists. Breakfast very good located on 6th floor with terrace area available - can just see the twin spires of Munich's Frauenkirche - and a good selection of cereals, cold meats and cheeses, breads. Hotel reception staff polite and informed.

I have been in this hotel for the fourth time and must say that its quality is deteriorating. It looks as if it has a new owner, it was partially refurbished, however, the service is worse than before. The check-out now is at... 11.00 and I was not able to prolong that even by half an hour. The breakfast on Sunday is also till 11.00, however, at 9.45 there was nothing warm to eat and later nothing was supplied. The coffee was also terrible. The staff does not understand what the sticker "Do not disturb" means as the cleaning lady entered my room at 9.30. Wi-Fi Internet did not work and now one must pay to use the terminals in the lobby (earlier it was free).

The rooms was OK, clean and fine typical German. The Hotel is situated not to far from the Hauptbanhof.

A nice hotel near the Central Station with good communications. Very nice staff eager to fulfill our wishes.

Very good location near to the city center. At night it was quiet street, at day - busy with vegetables shops. It didn't desterb us. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was wonderfull on the roof of the builduing. Good choise of dishes and wonerfull view. Parking near is free at nights. Reccomend it.

I was there during Oktoberfest so I think I got clobered on prices...150 Euro for one person then an extra 90 Euro a night when I changed the reservation to a double. The people were nice and the breakfast buffet (although it didn´t have much fresh fruit or juices) was nice. One downer is that the two beds (two singles pushed together - i hate that about European hotels!) were really soft and a bit uncomfortable and not even the same type of softness. The location was very nice because was just a few blocks from the main train station, a few blocks to Oktoberfest and only about a 15 minute walk to the center of the old part of town. Would recommended it for 150 Euro a night double, but not 250.

Room was very tiny, but probably just because we spent only one night there. Hotel staff was very kind and helpful. Buffet breakfast was excellent!

I was very pleased with the Schweiz hotel in Munich. The room was small but comfortable. Good Internet connection but not included in room price. The breakfast selection was great. Two blocks from the Munich train station makes it an ideal location and the neighborhood has lots of restaurants and shops. Definately would stay there again and recommend it to anyone looking for budget accomodations.

This hotel is within 10 minutes walking distance from Munich central station. The rooms are very small and the furnishing is somewhat old fashioned. But the price is very cheap. The room does not seem to have an air conditioner. Thus it will be difficult to manage summers here. The breakfast was as usual. The reception staff were frinedly and provided lot of information about Munich. This is a good place If you want to stay in city center,be a back packer and expect only minimum amenities.

Good location it would have been nice if toiletries were provided.
