Scott House Hotel Rome

So close to the Termini train station and the centre of Rome. Its cheap and easy to find. The hotel is located on the fourth and fifth floors of this block. Breakfast was standard but fitting. The room was very clean and tidy, comfortable bed too. Would definately stay here again.

It is a very nice hotel very close to Termini station.The staff is very friendly and the rooms very clean.The prices are also very acceptable.I would recommend it!

Reasonably priced hotel only a hop, skip and a jump from Termini which is the centre for all rail travel. Scott House is in a fairly nice area with lots of restaurants and shopping, and is only 1 or 2 stops from great sightseeing monuments.

Very basic hotel. It suits for those who are coming to see Rome but not to spend a lot of time in the hotel. The room was clean, the bathroom as well, althougt the bathroom ceiling was mouldy, but it was ok :) The hotel is situated next to the train station so it is very convenient to take a metro or a train to any other town of Italy. It was quite noisy because the window was facing the street, but in general, this hotel offers a very good quality/ price ratio and is located in a convenient place.

The hotel was great for the price. We chose to stay there because it was only couple of steps away from the main railway station and we travelled to Rome from Milan and then to Zurich by train. The room was big and very clean, staff very helpful. I am very satisfied with our stay there and would definately recommend Scott House Hotel. The only thing that was bothering us was the breakfast, which only consisted of a croissant and jam or butter (every day!). So I suggest that you eat outside if you want something different for breakfast. Otherwise Scott House Hotel is great value for the money and located very near the center so it is easy to get to know Rome.

Location wise it is great if you don't really know your way around Rome because it's right near the central station (but on the other hand it's quite a distance from all the main attractions except the beautiful collesium!! Meanwhile the walk to the attractions is well worth it)! The staff were very lovely! Just beware because the rooms are very noisy just because of the busy street it's on! Overall though we were happy with it!!

Good clean hotel, conveniently located near Termini train station. Some rooms may be noisy at night. If you need a hotel in Rome just to sleep after busy days of walking and enjoing Rome - look no further.

Hotel was clean and it is good location (200 m from Termini station and 200 m from Santa Maria Maggiore and you can really walk to Coloseo or to Via del Corso where are many important sights you might have in your itinerary). Maybe the traffic on the street in the early morning was bit disturbing. Good, clean, cheap hotel.

The hotel was clean and tidy. A new paint job inside the hotel made for a really funky look. Rooms were a good size and breakfast was the standard bread roll, croissant, coffee and/or juice nothing to rave about but so typical of Italian hotels. The hotel is located on the 4th floor of a building very close to the Termini train station along with 5 other hotels in the same building (all on a different floor). Unfortunately being so close to the train station meant that there was a tremendously large amount of traffic in the street at all hours of the night and day. The room appeared to be sound proof to everything but this traffic. We were kept awake until 2:00-3:00 am every night by the noise and then awoken every morning at 5:30 am to the sound of trucks grinding their gears and slowing revving up and down the street. This noise is a HUGE negative. I couldn't believe that street noise would be so loud and would last all night long but it did. No fridge in the room also negative.

No internet access.

Great location and good for the price. Unfortunately the breakfast is poor. I do not like Continental breakfasts.

A very good 2 star hotel. Large, modest room with television. En-suite facilities were pleasing. Breakfast was basic but satisfactory. Receptionists were delightful. sited near the Termini. I would certainly stay at the Scott House on a future visit to Rome. Rome.

The Hotel is clean, staff were friendly. The room we had unfortunately was right next to Reception so we could hear EVERYTHING and EVERYONE coming in at all hours of the day. The hotel is VERY over priced for what you get.

This is a pleasant place to stay, and conveniently located near the train station and a subway stop. The rooms are not fancy, but most of them are painted in bright, cheery colors.
