Getting there:
The most convenient way to get to Phuket is to fly. There a many flight options available from Bangkok direct to Phuket and takes little over 1 hour. Additionally there are direct international flights from Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong plus a number of charter flights from Europe. There are no trains that go to Phuket but there are a number of buses that operate from larger cities in Thailand to Phuket town.

Really nice place and great, quiet location! They could charge a lot more for this place if they wanted to...we will be back!

Fantastic hotel - great design, good location and facilities (other than the lack of wifi facilities which was advertised but there was no wifi available. Too bad about the extra poor service. Worst reception service in a hotel ever, the only wonderful treatment came from the chef and the GM (I feel sorry for him, having to manage timebombs going off every so often).
