Getting there:On arriving in Airlie Beach, turn right at the first rouindabout onto Waterson Road, 200m on the right turn into Orana St and first turn left into Nara Avenue and then 1st right again up our driveway. Taxis, shuttle bus, and limo services are available to Sea Star Apartments

A real bargain. Terrific views, away from the backpacker crowd but close enough to shops to be convenient.
Good view from apartment. Spacious but quite run down. The walk up steep hill is not really for elderly but the young and fit will cope.

Despite of climbing a small hill to reach the hotel and 5-min walk to the main street, it is very worthwhile to enjoy unique sea view. The staffs are quite friendly and room facilities are quite good. Definitely I will rebook this hotel in the future. One suggestion is that you don’t buy return ticket of shuttle bus from the airport. You can book the ticket at the hotel reception (same price). And the shuttle will come to pick you up.
Lovely apartments and facilities with stunning views. Very efficient and friendly proprietors. Very highly recommended. Will stay there again in the near future I think.

the location isnt that bad but it is a huge walk up the hill we did the taxi thing after the first atempt but the whole place will keep you fit up and down hills and stairs everywere in the apartments.
We had great expectations of these Apts and they were more than met. They have commanding views over the harbours of Airlie Beach from all the main rooms and are in a residential area - far enough away from the popular backpacker areas but easy to access when you like. The jacuzzi and pool enjoy amazing views and are relatively quiet and most enjoyable.
