"Sea Temple was lovely. We were upgraded to a roof top suite which had a lovely private hot tub on a roof top balcony. The pool was fabulous and a perfect temperature.
The cleaning and tidying of our room could have been done better. The toilet for instance sported remnants of the last occupant - this remained during the whole of our stay.
Overall Sea Temple was 5 star as it claims though better value for money could be found else where. We found that we were always out and about and could not quite justify the price for the little amount of time we spent there. If you enjoy BBQ's and relaxing in the hot tub for long periods of time then the roof top suite is for you!" - Anonymous
"Nice hotel, great pool. The standard (studio) rooms have a great spa, but are otherwise a bit average considering the cost. Also the toilet door was frosted glass. The rest of the hotel facilities are very nice. There is a bus to and from the Port Douglas township every half hour which takes about 10 mins ($6 return). Hotel seems to be very popular with families, so lots of small children. They really didn't bother us as our room was set back from the pool (one advantage of the standard room!) but I can imagine it could get a bit noisy if you had a room right on the pool. We had a very pleasant stay and thought the pool area was lovely. " - Anonymous

Slightly out of town but is not an issue as a shuttle bus exists. Facilities are excellent rooms do not transmit any noise, swimming pool is amazing.

Situated 1 hour's drive north of Cairns. From the airport follow the signs to Port Douglas taking the Captain Cook Highway. The hotel offers a shuttle bus or Limousine Service(charges apply), or alternatively there are car hire facilities available at the Airport. Taxi's are also available.
