Good friendly staff. Very good room and awesome bathroom.
we requested an early check in, which was dependent upon availability. Our room was ready at 11.30 which was perfect. The Sebel has a great ambience, and the outlook is fabulous.
Extremely comfortable, fantastic staff. Only car parking is a problem if major symposia etc are in progress.
Relatively new hotel right on waterfront. Rooms very comfortable and breakfast excellent. plenty of shops and eateries in town however a long walk from hotel. Would definately stay at this hotel again and would recommend.
This is a lovely, modern hotel, and it was a pleasure to stay there. We were moved from a room overlloking the carpark to one with a beautiful view at the front. What a difference. Don't take a back room! Also the bathrooms have a glass sliding door. This is not entirely private and unfortunate. Otherwise perfect.
Located close to the central business district, walking distance to main entertainment area, good sized, clean rooms at the usual standard for a well maintained 5 star hotel. Quiet rooms despite being close to main road. Would stay again. Competent rather than exceptional would describe the place.
My wife and I stayed only one night. We very much enjoyed our stay and will go back.Rooms were very modern nicely decorated Quiet and comfortable.Bathroom had both a seperate shower and bath.Position right on the waterfront close to everything plenty of parking.Hotel staff Friendly and welcoming.
For the higher than expected price, free WIFI should have been provided. The actual view of my room does not synchronise with the romantic photos shown on the internet. Hotel front desk staff were friendly and helpful.
After upgrading to a water front room, the first night was sleepless due to an air conditioning fan noise that kept us awake. Some of the staff at front counter weren't very enthusiastic and welcoming.
Excellent location and a great room. We had a harbour view room. It was great and would reccommend that it is worth the extra expense to do that as some of the back rooms might not have the outlook you expect.
Nice hotel - well situated by the waters edge. Good bed. The bathroom was modern, clean with nice fittings and furniture but the layout didn't work. Also there was no place in in the shower for shampoo etc, and nowhere near the shower door for a towel to hang. The hinged shower door left no clearance at the bottom for the bathmat. I know these are picky things but this was advertised as a NZ$300 room.
It was aight
The only problem is evening parking when a major function is being hosted
Great facilities in a central location. Very clean and tidy.
Noise in the hotel was off putting. Slamming of corridor fire doors, Noise from stair wells. Poor noise insulation. Other than that very nice rooms. Service to be served for drinks was very average and the waiter had to be chased more than once. Once order placed it took forever, in a relatively empty bar area.
A great place to stay
Very comfortable and my wife & I always enjoy staying here. Our only criticism is shortage of parking in evenings when functions are being held.
Not impressed with the room - seems the [your website] rooms are not to the standard of other rooms.
