Hotel Sempione, is located in the historical centre of Florence, just 100 meters far from Santa Maria Novella train station, the Congress Palace, Fortezza da Basso (main exhibitions center) and just a few steps from the cathedral and the most important Florentine museums and churches. Our rooms, furnished in the classical style with parquet floor or Florentine “cotto” are all soundproofed and equipped with mini bar, safety deposit box, satellite television, Sky, direct line telephone, individually controlled air-conditioning/heating, private bathroom with hairdryer, bath tube or shower, linen warmer. The Hotel has a lift and two rooms designed to suit the needs of handicapped guests.

Getting there:You can easily reach our Hotel in three minutes on foot, just following these instructions: in the main train station of Santa Maria Novella in Florence there are two exits, leaving the train platforms on the back you have to exit from the left side, across the street and go to the right until the corner, than turn to the left in Largo Alinari street. Keeping going straight ahead and walking on the left side, after some meters the street becomes Via Nazionale and you will find our Hotel at the number 15 (black coloured number).
Check-in Procedure:Check in time 12.00. Passports for foreign people or identity cards for european people are required
Car parking:Our Hotel is located in the historical center of Florence. Parking the car in the street is not allowed. Our Hotel cooperates with a private garage close by. The rate goes from 23.00 up to 33.00 Euro depending on the size of the car.
Child Policy:Children up to 3 years are free of charge. A cot will be offered on request and availability.
Great location (near station , restaurants and markets); incredibly small but well appointed room (had to put our luggage in front of door); very quiet (well soundproofed), large bathroom, friendly staff. Expensive for what you get but that is Florence!
Really enjoyed my stay in Florence and it will definitely be one of my places to stay next trip overseas.

I would definitely stay at this hotel again. It was in a good location - close to the station and the historical centre. The room was spacious and clean. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was standard but adequate.
This hotel is okay, generally in good location with spacious room and shower facility. The room even has Sky installed with BBC, Eurosports and Skysports available! I'd say that its definitely a good choice I made!
Lovely hotel. Excellent location, right in the centre of Florence. Very friendly staff, female receptionist especially helpful and spoke good english. Small but clean bedroom and bathroom with very good shower. Would stay here again and recommend it for anyone wanting a central base in Florence.
Courteous and very helpful staff, the lady at the reception gave us a lot of help, thank you. Clean comfortable room will definitely stay here again. Nice breakfast and good coffee. elegant entrance with good security.

The hotel was in a good location, close to the railway station and all the main tourist atractractions. The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly. overall this hotel was good value for money.
Centrally located and helpful staff. The real complaint is about the bathroom. If you are fat like I am, there is no way you will be able to get into the shower. Also, breakfast doesn"t start until 7.30am., a bit late if you want an early start.
The two female receptionists were very friendly and helpful with finding and booking tours and advice. The hotel couldn't be better placed: a short walk to the railway station and to all the sights in Old Florence.

The stay at Sempione Hotel in Floence was a very nice experience. My wife and I would certainly like to return.
Sempione Hotel is incredibly close to the Firenze SMN or the central train station (3 minutes walk). It takes only less than 15 minutes to walk to Duomo. The room was nice and clean. Hot shower was working fine. I highly recommend for those who want to travel around Florence (eg Pisa, Designers Outlet). Really love it!
Excellent budget hotel.
Delightful little hotel just a stone's throw from the heart of historic Florence. Found very easily and the valet parking was a breeze.
The hotel is located very near the train station and as Florence is small it is within walking distance from everywhere. The hotel staff are very helpful and helped us book day trips in the Toscany area. Air-conditioning saved us in the heat of the summer (a definite must for a summer vacation in Florence). Highly recommended, will definitely go back there.

Very well located, close to the train station and close to the Duomo (centre of Florence). The staff were very nice, helpful and did what they could to make the stay as good as possible. I would definitely stay there again.
Walking distance from railway station and major attractions. Bathroom newly renovated and included amenities often not provided in hotels of this rating.
Good location near train station...easy hike to Duomo and Effizi. Busy street with restaurants and stores but it is quiet at night.
