The room was small but okay. There were no double beds, only twin. But we just moved them together and that was fine (the cleaning staff didn't move them apart again). To me the breakfast was bad. The staff was nice. There was no elevator. All in all, the price reflected the quality of the hotel.
good room and breakfast very handy for bus route into all destinations and rail travel Thanks
A lovely little room, perfectly clean. Conveniently located for Paddington and plenty of eating-places nearby. Decent breakfast. I'd certainly use this hotel again.
I stayed for a week-end with my husband and 2 small kids. First of all, excellent location for the price. We had a triple room and they added an extra cot at no extra charge. The size of the room was good, i was expecting a lot smaller from previous reviews. The room was at the end of the hall on the ground floor in the White House (which is just around the corner from Seymour) and had a small entrance hall where we could leave the push chair. The shower was good, but the basin at the bottom didn't empty quickly enough. They changed the sheets for our second night. The room doesn't get enough air (the window opens into a gap between two buildings) so the cupboard was smelling of mold. The breakfast was good, coffee, juice, toast, preserves, butter, cheese, ham, various cereal and milk. The only problem was that it's too early for the week-end: 7-9:15, but actually around 9 they start to run out of drinks. Pleasantly surprised that they have a car park at £10/night, ok for London.
Location is very good. You have full access for buses, subway and taxis.
This place was a very pleasant surprise! Small - as one might expect for the price and location - but completely satisfactory for a single person's needs.
The location is faily good, close enough to the underground station and bus stops. The staffs are friendly and were knowlegible to provide all kind of info. The room was much tinier than I expected and only 1 towel was provided. No lift. We stayed 7 nights and ate exactly same breadfast every morning.
Hotel was relatively easy to locate dispite being in a street filled with similar looking hotels. Location was great with regard to transport and food, with many restaurants and cheap take away places. Biggest complaint was room size, it was a shoebox and the smallest place we've ever stayed. Windows did not shut properly which allowed traffic noise in (and a couple insects). Breakfast was a make-your-own affair with white toast, yoghurt and cereal the only options. Good for budget travellers.
The double room in basement is indeed quite spacious for the price. Yet it's a pity that the toilet doesn't flush well and therefore wasted quite a lot of water. Shower curtain can function better if it's a bit longer. But in general it is a lovely hotel at reasonable price with good location, friendly staff and a cute terrace:))
nobody bothered to clean the room . We left the room at 12 : 30 pm and returned at 6 pm . Otherwise ,all was fine .Reception was very helpful, breakfast was good.
Great value for this price. Location is great as well.
Good location, good price, helpful reception staff, very clean, very basic breakfast but then you get what you pay for.
Good choice for a two star hotel. Small, dark but clean room close to the Paddington station.
If you have luggage and/or can't walk up stairs so well, be sure you get a ground-floor room! And the bathrooms are very tiny. But otherwise, everything was fine. Clean sheets, helpful staff, reasonable price.
The bathroom wasn't that good ( a pre fabricated one). so way too small, but at the end it was ok.
it's a basic hotel, convenient location, 24 hour reception, nice breakfast
It gives good value for its price (considering that hotels in London are generally expensive), so I can recommend it. Staff is very friendly and helpful, and rooms are clean.
Service was extremely good. I am coming back!
Friendly staff. Very simple breakfast. No luxury, but the hotel got all that it needs for a great weekend in London city. You can walk to almost every spot in West London.
Twin room, small but clean and very reasonably priced in the heart of Paddington. Will use again! Ideal for me as I only wanted somewhere to sleep, wash etc then off on my sightseeing.
