"I realy enjoyed my stay at the Shatan Hotel, the staff were friendly and the breakfast filled you up for the day ahead. The rooms were immaculate. As long as you take a little time with the staff everything could be sorted out. Position was great, not to far to the Forbidden City (back enterance) and both Shatan Park (for great views over the Forbidden city) and Beihai Park, both essential stops on any trip to Beijing." - Richard Hazby

By 10 minutes walking ,you could reach China Art Museum and the busy business district - the famous Wang Fu Jing street .
