Shaftesbury Hyde Park International London Hotel

In der Gegend wo sich das Hotel befindet, gibt es viele Essmöglichkeiten und die U-Bahn ist keine Minute enfernt (super Lage). Das Zimmer ist gross genug, schön und sauber. Es hat einen Safe, jedoch ist dieser schon "codiert" eingestellt!! Das heisst, man kann keinen eigenen Code eingeben! Was ich sehr schlecht finde. Ansonsten Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit.

This hotel has undergone a recent full renovation so all the rooms are like new with very modern bathrooms, Flat screen TV's etc. It is extremely well located, only 2 minutes from the Bayswater tube station and every conceivable facility available in the next street, Queensway. Highly recommended and very well priced for a 4 star London hotel

Ilman mahtavaa henkilökuntaa tämä hotelli valinta olisi saattanut olla tosi huono. Ennakko soitto hotelliin kannatti koska jalka oli kipsissä ja huolestutti etukäteen minkälainen huone odotti. Vaihto onnistui. Ei portaita, suihku ja tilava huone. Ennakko kuvaus hotellihuoneesta ei kuitenkaan pitänyt ystävä pariskunnan osalta paikkaansa ollenkaan. Mini huone jonne ei mahtunut edes kunnolla matkalaukkuja saatika pari isompaa matkalaista. Huoneen vaihto onnistui kuitenkin avuliaan henkilökunnan avulla. Ebookersin osalta apuja ei saanut millään tavalla ennen matkaa. Tämä kannattaa huomioida kun liikuntarajoitteinen, vaikka väliaikaisesti, varaa matkaa. Itse saa hoitaa kaikki selvitykset, lennon osalta, hotellin osalta ym.

Booking fiasco - hotel had not received booking from Hotel Club - when they obtained it, they had no available rooms, and I was sent to walk to a nearby associated hotel. No apologies from staff involved, but one complementary breakfast was provided. Hotel facilities were average: tiny room, unpleasant smell through air conditioning and dangerously broken desk chair. Otherwise fine!

Reasonably priced hotel in a great location. The rooms are tiny, the bathroom is tiny, but then that seems pretty standard in London hotels. My room (317) was immediately next to the elevator shaft and the noise was extremely annoying, I had to go and buy ear plugs to drone it out. I asked to be moved but was told the hotel was full. Also, my bathroom had a bad smell that never went away. I would look for somewhere else next time I am in London.

The hotel is definitely one of the best in Bayswater. Excellent location, efficient service, very clean and adequate facilities. We definitely recommend it. We hope that it will maintain it's quality. Next time we are in London, it would be our first choice. Congratulations to the management & staff.

Adequate for a night but room small

The only negative note to this hotel is in fact the size of the room. Otherwise is a nice, quite and clean hotel with a very good location.

Very small room, but had everything you need for a short stay

Very tiny room. Fitness room that listed, was not operational. Extremely small room and far from City, if you need the Circle line, which has regular problme.s

Perfect location, friendly staff, very clean (in London a surprise, but hotel is completely renovated so that it's easier to keep clean - let's check it in 3-4 years....). The room was a shame! I slept in a single bed (about 1m large) with my 8-years old son (luckily not with husband!) and I felt out of bed twice! If the 2nd person has to get out of bed he/she has to step over the other one. Bed next to a window which lets freezing cold wind entering. TV: only engl programmes. It's a 4-star hotel but bec of the above does NOT deserve it. A pitty bec it's very nice furnitured and clean - but definately too small (a wardrobe with 5 hangers and they keep on telling me that it's a 2-people room??? Forget it!!!).

Had a very small room, but this is to be expected in London. The whole city is congested, so to expect a large room is perhaps expecting a little too much. Great location, 50m from the tube and Hyde Park. Hotel very well-appointed and room very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Also a great wifi connection. Would definitely recommend this hotel - it's a safe choice!

A modern hotel in a central location - reasonably quiet at night though the tube can be heard. The rooms were small but comfortable with new fittings and bedding. In summary - cosy, clean and cheap!
