Excellent location in paddington close to train station and express to Heathrow. Rooms very clean but very small though. Good for overnight stop. Have stopped here many times and will stop here again as long as pricing is right.
very happy with everything thank you
Another top hotel close to everything ie: Paddington Station and undergrond, Pubs,Restaurants. Could noy find fault with it.
The hotel room was THE smallest double room we have ever stayed in! I don't know how it can be classed as a 4 star hotel? It was the discounted price and location being near Paddington station for the heathrow express that attracted us so can't complain about the good deal through [this website] but it was so small it was almost dangerous - no room to put the laptop on the desk next to the kettle so had to put tea and coffee tray on the floor with the kettle whilst using the lap top. I have to give them credit for fitting as much as possible into such a confined space, however - but don't think I will return because of the size of the room.
On arrival at the hotel I was told they didn't have a room for me and I was being moved to another one of there hotels, which was annoying as I picked the hotel for its location. They provided me with free taxis back to the original hotel when i needed to get to paddington. this was my second stay and the rooms are very clean and modern but very small
Small rooms but workable. Free internet. Friendly staff.
The suspension of flights in and over UK in mid April 2010 due to the volcanic ash crisis forced me to extend my stay at this hotel for a few days. The hotel staff were understanding and supportive, allowing me to stay on in the same room even as I kept extending my room reservation as the situation evolved. The real worth of a hotel is revealed by how it treats guests in difficulty - and this hotel passed the test with flying colours (no pun intended!).
Outstanding hotel and room. Couldn't believe the value and the space and sunlight in the room.
I was very impressed with this hotel, the decor was lovely and the deluxe twin room fully furnished with fridge and microwave. What impressed me with most was the free internet which was accessible via the 32" flat screen tv mounted opposite the bed. The location was supurb just behind paddington train station. I will definitely stay here again.
Very convenient to Paddington Station with plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. Wi-fi in the foyer (also available in the closer bedrooms!). £12 for breakfast seemed a bit steep but plenty of places outside to get fed, including Bagels on the station concourse.
Close to Paddington Station and easy access into the central areas of London. Do never expect big rooms, because there are no in this area.
Rooms very small with very low ceilings. However they are very tastefully decorated and are very cosy. Big TV with internet access. Good 4 star service
The room is very small, but fits to to price
The location, cleanliness, appointment and service 4 star. The price was reasonable and meant that I could pay for a double room single occupancy. Just as well as it was the tiniest room I have ever stayed in with he double bed taking up almost all of the bedroom. How the hotel was able to fit everything into such a tiny bathroom was also a wonder. Good for an overnighter only.
Good location, just five minutes walk from Paddington station. 10 minutes walk from Hyde Park. Nice, safe neighbourhood, hotel is on a quiet street. Limited facilities in hotel. Bedrooms are tiny! Bathroom and shower are really small, you can't really bend over in the shower and you have to go into the bathroom sideways. The wardrobe is really small and there is no room for suitcases only the floor so you end up tripping over them as the space between the bed and the door is so limited. If you are bigger than average size the room will be a problem because you will be banging into furniture all over the place and the lack of space would get on your nerves if you were staying for longer than two nights. But I hear that most London hotels have tiny rooms. Apart from that, the staff were really nice and friendly, especially the porter. A good hotel and the location is one of the most important things when booking a hotel anyway.
good price... nice location, very close to Paddington train station which means easy transit from Heathrow Airport as well as tube network...
Nice hotel but our room was very small. We could have complained but didn't bother.
Very nice hotel, moderised, friendly and helpful staff and in a very central location. However, breakfast overpriced - use one of the local cafes.
Very small rooms but workable. Good price. Free internet a major plus.
First 2 nights in a room that was astoundingly, unbelievably small. Were then moved to a good room. Hotel's positon is excellent but I would refuse the original small room in future.
