"A large number of the rooms have 4 narrow down steps immediately after the room door which makes entrance difficult and dangerous especially with luggage. These rooms were extremely small such that the space between the bed and the walls was about 15cm on one side and about 30 cm on the other. After registering a complaint we were moved the next night to an equally small room but without steps..
The management policy is that they will only store luggage until 5pm on the day of departure. As we had planned to take a short visit to another city and return to the hotel 2 days later taking only an overnight bag we were forced to take our large luggage to Paddington stationLLeft Luggage for storage. An inconveniencc we would not have expected in an allegedly 4 star hotel.
The breakfast was poor quality.
We would not stay there again." - gordon howard
"Very nice hotel, moderised, friendly and helpful staff and in a very central location. However, breakfast overpriced - use one of the local cafes. " - Ian Strachan
"Very small rooms but workable. Good price. Free internet a major plus." - Robin Hodgkins
"Most ridiculous hotel room have had for a long time. Bathroom so small they had to put the toilet against the wall. Difficult stairs to get in and out of room. Room very small. About 100mm either side of the bed. Free internet bad quality. Dropped in and out. Staff nothing special" - Paul Bicknell
