This is a very nice hotel overlooking the Creek. A room with this view would make a great enjoyment. The breakfast is full of choices, and the Vivaldi Italian resturant, where the breakfast area is located, has wonderful indoors and outdoors sittings and views.
Excellent hotel, clean, comfortable and great location viewing the Dubai creek.
LOved it! Would stay again.
The Towers upgrade which we upgraded to was only on the seventh floor but was spacious and had a good view of the creek.
Excellent hotel - very enjoyable stay, although cost was a little more than expected.
The classic rooms had quite old fashioned decor compared to a lot of the hotels in Dubai. Nice if you like that sort of thing.
without B/F and Airport transfer pricing is high comaring to other. e
This is an excellent hotel - it is in a fantastic location, all the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the rooms and facilities are wonderful. If you book a 'Towers Room', make sure you contact the hotel directly a few days before you go there to arrange the free airport transfer - it is worth it! We had 1 bell boy that would always wait around for a tip - I didn't like that - but its only 1 out of however many - I guess just make sure you have some small change. Also, I'm glad I read the other people's reviews on here, because, just as others wrote, the bell boys like to call their own unmarked taxi's which charge higher - I was aware of this, but we did it once for a short journey anyway - All other times we walked down the street and got a normal taxi. All in all, well worth a stay at this hotel.
Very good if you have an early morning flight as it's near to the airport. Excellent breakfast buffet.
On arriving very early in the morning, we chose to upgrade to a Tower room which was available immediately with no early checkin fee and were delighted with both the facilities and the the service. The guest lounge was staffed by friendly and helpful staff and the service was excellent with nothing too much trouble. Our room had a wonderful view of the creek. The Italian restaurant had an extensive menu and the food was both delicious and very well presented. The pool area was inviting and well maintained. The position was fantastic with access to the old souk and gold souk easy by water taxi and abra rather than needing to take a taxi. We will stay here again.
The location is ideal, the view from the rooms facing the creek is breathtaking, the facilities are fantastic, the staff is very smiley and helpful, the food at the excecutive lounge is delicious and the swimming pool is very relaxing; Treat yourself to a fabulous and luxurious stay!
This has to be one of the best places I've stayed in. The service was excellent and the staff were very helpfull. I would definetly stay there the next time I am in Dubai. The only downside is the area Deira which has a lot of traffic.
A pleasure to stay there. The staff were friendly and courtious and the facilities were superb.
Excellent service - second to none we have had. Stayed top floor overlooking Dubai Creek - a cool oasis in a very hot Dubai. Very comfortabe bedding. We were there during Ramadam and the Hotel made every effort to make the situation easier. Buffet breakfast was excellent with wonderful service. Pool area great - with cold washers and spray bottles supplied by staff. Could not fault the accommodation or service it in any way.
well presented hotel with excellent friendly staff - close to airport and central dubai - Dubai Creek adjacent and fullof interest - traffic a nightmare but this applies to all Dubai. Hotel's Indian restaurant one of the best we have experienced. However do not use laundry service on Fridays - prices double due to religious position.
Great place. Very close to airport and city centre. Take the creek view if possible.
For a 5 star hotel in Dubai next to the creek, this hotel is really worth staying. The lobby looked really poshy and our room was just facing the beautiful Dubai Creek. The room was huge and bed was extremely comfortable. A free English newspaper was delivered every morning. Breakfast was a bit expensive but it was awesome. Staff were friendly and helpful. However no free internet access and the hotel charges a really high price for getting access to the internet. Beware of the hotel door man ordering premiun taxi for you which is more expensive than the normal ones.
Book two non-smoking rooms, one room was made available @ 10:30am and the second was only available after 16:00pm. Was given a smoking room which had a terrible odour. Hotel food is extremely expensive.
We enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton very much. It has spectacular open lounge areas. The room in the tower with views to the creek was great. Staff was most helpful and managed to get a room ready for weary travelers before check-in time. Breakfast and dinner were most enjoyable in the pleasant surroundings of the restaurant overlooking the creek.
Hotel was magnificent. Sometimes if we asked for a special item from room service such as a kettle to warm a baby's milk or a newspaper it was a long time coming. However staff were very friendly and helpful nevertheless.
