Sheraton Haikou Resort is the first international five star resort located strategically on the west coast of Haikou city; right on the beach and 10 minutes drive from the central business and shopping district, Contemporarily designed with guest utmost comfort in mind, all 341 rooms including 36 suites are exceptionally well appointed with luxurious touches throughout. All rooms feature Sheraton Sweeter Sleeper beds with crisp white linen, a spacious work area, high speed internet access, private balcony, generous sized bathtub and separate rain forest overhead showers. Equipped with extensive meeting facilities, the resort is the ideal venue for any event with over 1300 square meters of conferencing space. The Grand World Ballroom can accommodate 600 guests with exhibition space around the purpose built convention facility. The Capital Ballroom conveys an elegant ambience and is the perfect alternative for smaller events. Four meeting rooms and a VIP room on the same floor offer the functionality of breakout rooms for larger events or can be utilized for more intimate gatherings.

Getting there:
General Directions to the Hotel From East From Changdi Road continue pass West Binhai Road and East Binhai Road. The Hotel is located on the right hand side. From West From the Haikou railway station, follow the East Binhai Road to city. From South Follow Haisheng Road, continue pass two corners at the third corner turn right onto Changyi Road. Continue straight to the end of the road. Turn left onto East Binhai Road. The hotel is located on the left hand side.

Check-in Procedure:
Visa/Passport Policy We asks for all guests to provide valid photo identification, such as a passport or ID card, upon check-in. Age Requirement Policy Guests have to be 18 years or older with a valid photo ID to check-in.

Early Departure Policy Please notify the hotel of early departure at least 24 hours in advance of the departure to avoid a 1 night penalty charge. Late Checkout Policy We are happy to offer complimentary late check-out through 2pm, based on availability. Guests wishing to retain their rooms through 6pm may do so for half a day's surcharge, or for a full day's surcharge after 6pm, based on current room rates.

We enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton Haikou, the food was excellent and the staff tried very hard to accommodate our needs, the hotel itself and our room was beautiful. However as we were there for a holiday we found that tours and taxis from the hotel were expensive and disappointing compared to elsewhere in China. We'd recommend it for a relaxing break very good value.

The Sheraton Hotel in Haikou is about twelve months ago and is a superb beach resort hotel. It is adjacent to a private beach and offers about four differrent swimming pools. It has the other facilities you would expect of a beach resort hotel. There are a couple of golf courses close by that I can not comment on because I did not try to play. This was an ideal hotel to relax at after intensive sight seeing trips to Beijing, Xi'an and Shanghai. I would definitely recommend it.

Garden Room

Spacious bedroom comprises 40 sq meters of space, design is contemporary, fresh and stylish. All Garden rooms overlook the exotic tropical garden, unique water features or the sparkling tiered pool.

Ocean Room

Same size and design as the Garden room, these rooms are situated on the ocean facing side of the hotel and offer view of the water and lush garden of swaying palm coconut trees.
