It was awesome when we check in and upgraded to a lakeview room, which i did not bother to check when i did the booking. The lady at the reception on arrival was very pleasant and accomodating.
Nice view but old Hotel.
Large comfortable hotel rooms, all with ensuite. These rooms feature courtyard and/or mountain views. Tea and coffee facilites, TV, own bathroom. Free use of Spa pool and sauna.
One main bedroom with Queen size bed, plus in the lounge one extra single bed plus sofa bed available. All these units feature basic kitchenette facilities. Free use of sauna & spa pool.
Situated on the lakefront with views of the remarkable mountains and lake Wakatitu.
Two storey with two bedrooms upstairs, full kitchen facilities, lounge and bathroom downstairs with lake views.
Our room was in need of refurbishment, clean but dated. Comfortable beds and tidy presentation, but everything a bit old - coffee cups stained from frequent use etc. Reception staff great, friendly/helpful and welcoming. Restaurant/bar staff great, room service staff (broken hairdryer) rude.
The goood: spacious clean room, very good customer service. The not so good: bed was terrible (too soft, badly leant to one side, very bad TV reception - snowy and crackly sound.
All good apart from meal which we would rate as very average.
would stay again the view from our unit was great 4min drive into town. easy to relax and enjoy our stay. very helpful staff
Friendliness of staff was great & consistant across all staff I met. Location suited my business needs. Room was an older type but clean and rate paid was value for money. Food in restaurant was good.
Staff at reception and in the resturant were very friendly and helpful. The room was great, a bit cold when I first arrived, but quickly heated up.
Desk staff where extremely helpful and friendly. Facilities where perfect. will stay again
To far to walk from Queenstown centre but staff very helpul pretty basic hotel but good value for money

No hot water in shower.
The only problem I had was the restaurant was closed due to low numbers of guests. The management did offer to transport guests to another hotel for main meals.
Was all we expected, the reception staff especially were very helpful, nothing was a problem. Would go there again.
An older style Hotel with dated decor, but very clean & tidy. We had a lovely view from our 2 storey apartment. Your own transport is an advantage as the hotel's location is a way from town. Good value for money.
Good value for dollars & very helpful staff when we discovered a problem - they were very willing to put things right:) I was surprised that they have an extra charge if you don't clean your own dishes when it is advertised as having a kitchenette - this should be stated in their promotional material - should be done by the Hotel to ensure cleanliness standards are maintained.
Has swimming pool and 2 spa's although the spa's have no shower facility and are in rather small rooms with white walls and no windows, which makes them not really atractive for use. Motel is about six km's from the center of Queenstown so it can only be used by car.
We could see ourselves staying here again.
