Shiba Park Hotel Tokyo

Very good location and a lovely hotel. The staff couldn't do enough for us even though they couldn't always understand us. They certainly tried to be as helpful as possible. Room was OK and a bit bigger than the other european hotels we had stayed at.

Decent size room and reasonably priced. A bit far from the station but clean and good facilities.

The hotel is in a great location if you want proximity to Tokyo sta. And the neighborhood has a variety of restaurants to choose from.

Staff very courteous and helpful - excellent English.

Hotel reception area was very clean and welcoming and staff were very polite and helpful. Big let down was the room had lots of dirty marks on the walls and the carpet was very dirty with rips through it. Location to subway and train station was very good though

Small rooms, but reasonable location. Standard is average, but price is competitive and access is good for main attractions especially Tokyo Tower etc. Breakfast at hotel is ok for around 2200 Yen, restaurants expensive - better to walk round corner to larger choice etc

Great hotel, not too far from the fun district of Roppongi. Very friendly and accomodating staff and highly recommended.

Only stayed at Shiba Park 1 night but wish i'd spent more time there. I got a room upgrade so perhaps my rating is a little on the upside compared to what a normal room would get. My room was top floor, palatial in area with sitting area, huge bed, bathroom and separate mirror/basin area for shaving/doing hair etc. Location is a short walk from Hammamatsu (or however it was spelt) metro and JR line station (great for sunrise tours as their tours depart from this location) and within 1000 yen taxi trip to Tokyo Station (great for connecting to narita express). Room was very clean and had all the mod cons. Not sure if they had internet PCs but you were able to connect a PC to broadband in the lobby area business centre. Gets my 2 thumbs up!

only Aircondition is not working, have to open the window all the time during stay at the hotel, others everything is good. And very important for traveller subway near the hotel has no escalator if you carry a big suitcase you have to get off at diamond station rather than onarimon because there has a very long stair overthere.

The room had 3 triple beds and was a good size. The location is great being next to Tokyo Tower and the Jojoji Temple. It is also conveniently located to Yamanote Line and another line that is 2 stops from the fish market. Although the rooms were clean and well equipped, it badly needs refurbishment. Corridoor walls and carpet are old and dirty. Hotel is run down. The lifts are also small and dinghy. I do not think I will return. There is a good yakitori-ya worth coming back for. Its called Masuya. Serves great food and beer.

The information desk was excellent and always happy to assist. Rooms large by Japanese standards and would recommend this hotel.

Shiba Park is a great hotel with generous sized room for Japan. Close to subway station, restaurants etc. Impressed as we arrived off an early flight at 9.am and were given our room straight away - this did not happen at another Tokyo hotel which we booked through a different site, arriving at 2.50pm we were told to wait in the lobby until check in time of 3.00pm! This other hotel was more expensive than Shiba Park, with less facilities and a room half the size. I would definitely recommend Shiba Park to anyone visiting Tokyo.

Rooms are a bit small but then so are many others in Tokyo.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel where the staff were very friendly and most helpful. We would recommend this hotel to anyone needing a reasonably priced hotel conveniently located for access to central Tokyo.
