This is an apartment not a hotel. Ideal location for the travelers with limited budget. Single Studio, Loft Bed Studio, Private House of 2 bedrooms and budget single are available in two sides of the ministry of defense area in Ichigaya/Yotsuya/Ushigome-Yanagicho/Ushigome-Kagurazaka. bedrooms are in one flat or a house. kitchen/bathroom/toilet : common use. Bedding, linen, towel, utility : included. Wash machine installed: free of charge. Internet: fee of charge. Password will be provided at your arrival. Bring your own PC. Our office is located in Sakamachi, near the main gate of the Ministry of Defence. 30 meter from Yasukuni Dori Street. Please, come to our office first, then you will receive the key and will be escorted to your apartment. Attention: If you reserve more than one room(for example one single + one double), it might be possible to arrange two rooms not in the same floor or building if the reservation was made at the last moment. We will do our best to arrange to reserve your two(or more) rooms at least in a same building/house however allow us to arrrange your two rooms in two buildings but it has never happened until now. In case you like to reserve the second room, call us to inquire to the number listed on your reservation voucher. We will try our best to make your stay happy. Reserve only from ratetogo.com website. Getting there:
How to come from the airport: Take Limousine bus from Narita Airport to Hotel New Ohtani Akasaka-Mitsuke.(3000 yen, 100 minutes), from Haneda(1100 yen, 35 minutes). Narita Express Train doesn't stop at Akasaka. Limousine Bus ticket counter is just in front of the arrival gate. From Hotel New Ohtani, take a taxi to our address: It is actually not far from Yotsuya station however Hotel New Ohtani is other side of it therefore it will be better to take a taxi only for one meter. It can't be more than 800 yen. We are not allowed to write the address on the website according to the rules of ratetogo.com however when you make a reservation, you will get our address and can come easily. The address is Shinjuku-ku however it is near Yotsuya station that is almost middle spot between Tokyo and Shinjuku station of the Orange line JR(Chuo line). Once you arrive at my office, a dance studio, you will be escorted to your room.

Check-in Procedure:
Please note: When you arrive at the airport, call from the airport to let us know your arrival if your arrival will be after 20:00 p.m. If we have specific time it will be preferable. The telephone number is listed on your reservation voucher. Once you arrived at the apartment, please go directly to our office to pick up your key. Thank you. Have a nice stay with us!

For Me, this was the best hotel i have ever stayed at, having been also to the Shinjuku Washington (also very good) i prefer d here at Shinjuku Apartment, Well situated very close to the station, nice bedroom with a balcony, and also a very nice friendly owner, i really did enjoy this experience and i am defiantly coming back here on my next trip to Japan! 20/20

The host is nice, and its fairly cheap accomodation for tokyo. But its location isnt the best if your using jr lines, you will need to walk 5 min, and pay 180 yen to get to shinjuku station on a local line. You also have no idea who you will be sharing with, and living in such close quarters with. There was a bunch of shops nearby which is handy tho.

Student Budged Single Room

This is the special discount for students. Bedding, linen, towel will be prepared. WiFi available, the password will be provided as well as the apartment/house key. It is an ideal location in the central part of Tokyo for budget stayers. There is no curfew, you can come back any time. Room size: more or less 3-4 tatami matt size. Futon(low bedding) or high bed, wardrobe and other furniture are in your bedroom according to the room. It is either in a sharing flat of 3 - 4 bedrooms or in a dance school, Japan Dance Art. kitchen, toilet/shower are common use. Good for students/budged stayers. If you would like to have a big/nice/spacious room, don't reserve it as we have wonderful private room/house near by.

Private Twin/Double no smoking Room

Bedding, linen, towel will be prepared. It is an ideal location in the central part of Tokyo for budget stayers. There is no curfew, you can come back any time. Room size: more or less 6 tatami size. Private Studio type room with an unit bathroom. The room can be either twin or double according to the room. Location: Either in Sakamachi or Minami-motomachi however both of them are located in Yotsuya. Which room yours will be depends on the arrival day's situation. Either way you will be escorted to your room by us. We would like to know what time approximately you will arrive. Once you reserve, please, inform us your arrival time. Thank you.
