Boracay can be reached from Manila via daily flights on major domestic airlines through Caticlan and Kalibo. From Caticlan, it takes about 15 minutes to reach the island by boat. From Kalibo, it will take you an hour and a half by bus, plus the 15-minute boat ride.
Getting around Boracay is fairly easy. Pedicabs, motorized tricycles, and rented bicycles and motorbikes can take you anywhere. But since every possible destination is within walking distance, most tourists opt to go around on foot, savoring the soft caress of the ashen sand.
