A great hotel when you have your own transport as it is quite a distance away from downtown Queenstown. Facilities are new, complete and clean, with great price !!!

the location is quite far from city centre with 6km mountain driving. Maybe it's good for the ski people for that location. There are no chairs and table in the room, so it's not convenient to sit down to eat your food. The room hasn't been cleaned for the second day stay.

Clean, fresh, friendly staff, helpful, out of town but not far enough out to be a problem. Restaurant, walking, activities very close by. Easy access to Arrowtown and Queenstown. Lovely views fresh air, Public transport at the gate.

Very well appointed rooms - very good quiet night sleep. Will be back.

I would recommend shotover river lodge to any one. Lovely room with excellent facilities and private balcony. Felt very much at home there. Although not in Queenstown centre, the bus service was excellent. Would definately stay here again.

We spent 3 nights at the shotover lodge and enjoyed ever minute. It is very new with lovely gardens, it is about 10 minutes drive from the town centre but this was not an issue for us because we had a car. Our room was very clean comfortable and quiet, we would definately stay there again.

On the whole a good facility. Slightly bigger rooms with a lounge suite would have been preferale and my son loves a bath and there wasn't one. It seemed to me that not many people used (or perhaps knew of) the communal lounge and kitchen and maybe that space wouyld have been better used by making the rooms bigger. However, enjoyed our stay, the lasy on reception was lovely and helpful and the facilities nicely kept and clean. Some painting needed to be finished on our floor too.

Great accomodation, noisy neighbours.....

we were very happy with our accomadation, the rooms were spacious and clean and in a good location.

Great budget setup. The room was comfortable and warm and well situated for afternoon sunshine. Facilities were of a pleasing standard and suited this style of accomodation. Kirsten, the receptionist, was very welcoming and extremely helpful. The information folder could do with upgrading and include more detail on the facilities available, as it contained only the proceedure to be followed in the event of a fire. Apart from this we were extremely happy with the service provided and would willingly stay in this establishment in the future

Fantastic place to stay! Clean, new and great location! Definitely will stay there again! My wife and I had a very peaceful night's sleep!

This hotel was great value for money.. there is very few places you can stay in QT for $80 per NIGHT that has a king bed and your own bathroom. It is around 6km out of town, but since there is a new cheap bus service that runs from the city and back, it is great value.. will definately stay here again and recommend it to anyone that wants to stay in modern extremely affordable accommodation..

Plenty of parking lots, beautiful view of snow-capped mountains (during winter). Spacious rooms, very warm, fantastic shower pressure and temperature. 10 thumbs up if I have 10 hands!

Very pleasing - we were very late arriving (midnight) but somewone was there to meet and greet us. Would stay again.

We had a really nice and comfortable room. Everything was modern and contemporary. Although there were no electric blankets, the heater was definitely strong enough to keep us warm during our night stay. The location was good especially if you ski at coronet peak.
