The room was clean, the kitchen was about what I expected for a studio. The bathroom was cramped, actually had to sit on the toilet at an angle due to its closeness to the wall. My 10 year old was fine, if you are an adult it is too close. It was a 4 to 5 minute walk to the subway and there were great places to get food nearby.
Very good service, reliable and friendly people. Very close to NY University, and ideal if you want to visit GreenwichVillage. Very good price. Thank you very much!
55 Morton St was essentially an apt. in a building not a hotel. Safe and clean with OK ammenities. You picked up the key a few blocks away from some doorman and signed a sheet that had your credit card on it - a little scary. However in the 4 nights we stayed there was only once any person at the door to the place and NO maid service. Thus when we ran out of toilet paper there was nobody to call so we had to go out and buy ourselves. We did find an extra set of towels in the closet so we used them. It was quiet, had a kitchenette. nice bed, and was about 500 sq. ft.
Accomodation and location is great .. but .. the admin is disasterous. It took 1.5 hours to book in and we spent ages waiting for the manager to come in to correct a small problem with the credit card. The office doesn't open till 10:30 (at least) on sunday, so there was nowhere to leave our bags.
Makes you feel like home, room was nice and cozy - but there was not a proper cleaning service.Location is excellent.
Fantastic Place.
Loved the location and the kitchen in the room. Everything was in excellent order aside from the bathroom door, it didn't close properly. Nothing glamorous but if you want an appartment style place to stay and don't paying a bit more for location/kitchen/peace and quiet then I'd recommend it.
Do not be put off by 1960's interior atrium which is gloomy and dated. Location was terrific, apartment was spacious, well outfitted, and clean. Excellent proximity to grocers and restaurants. Weekend nights can be noisy but week nights are quiet.
This was a decent place to stay. We had a studio, with a tiny kitchen and bathroom. It was ok for the price, enough space for 2 people and clean.
Very good accomodation and good value. I enjoyed staying here and I liked the atmophere of my studio. The location is perfect for both midtown and downtown. Very good service.
great location, easy public transport-building needs some attention.Facilities is good
The on-site office people were very friendly and helpful.
