The Gran Hotel Havana is a high standard Hotel, enlarged and rehabilitated to De-Luxe Hotel in 1991. Placed in the Casa " L Fradera" (1872), with modernist architecture, blends the sophistication of the 20 Century with the beautiful architecture of the Modernism.
Built around an impressive atrium, the blend of old and new gives the hotel athmosphere whilst retaining a high standard of accommodation and service.
The Hotel is centrally located in Barcelona´s Gran Vía, close to the Exhibition Centre and the newly rebuilt harbour leisure area, being an excellent location within easy walking distance of the shopping district and the mediaeval alleyways of the Gothic Quarter.
All the 145 rooms have been redecorated between January - February 2002. They are fully equipped with a complete Italian marble bathroom, satellite TV, minibar, individual air-conditioning/heating control, working desk and hair drier.
The Restaurant, Grand Place is open all year round. You can find nice seasonal à la carte proposals, which include its traditional Fisherman’s rice Paella as well as other varied and original dishes. There is also a Delikatessen menu with surprising dishes of the last Catalan style cuisine tendencies.
A full buffet breakfast is accurately prepared each morning for you from 07:00 to 10:30am, and you can choose between our assorted pastries, cakes, fresh fruit and hot and cold dishes. |

From el Prat Airport, just straight from the motorway 18 kms. The hotel is located in the Gran via, one of the main streets of Barcelona, train and bus stops also in plaza Catalunya, but taxi is the easiest way ( 20 minutes and 20 euros Aprox. ) |
