Getting there:From Barcelona airport (1 h 30 min.): From the airport, take the AP-7 to Girona, turn off at exit 9, following the signs for St Feliu de Guixols-Platja d'Aro-Palamós. Take the road for Sta. Cristina, Castelló d'Aro and Platja d'Aro. Look out for a right turn to Platja d'Aro-Nord. Turn left at the roundabout, and 500 m further on the hotel is to your right. From Girona airport (35 min.): Leave the airport heading for Cassà de la Selva-St. Feliu de Guixols-Platja d'Aro. Go on until you reach Platja d'Aro, then look out for a right turn to Platja d'Aro-Nord. Turn left at the roundabout, and 500 m further on the hotel is to your right.

Excellent location above the shore. Only criticism was 7.5 euro charge for parking per day. Nice lounge area with piano. Pretty coastline in the north of Costa Brava compared to the area further south towards Barcelona.
We were here for 3 days and felt ourselves well. But: The hair dryer had vent wrong, and have not been mended, but we asked.
Front desk staff were not very welcoming. Room was in wing of hotel being renovated. No elevator, necessary to carry luggage up and down several small staircases.
Great location and fantastic views right on the beach. A little out of town. Interior a little tired but overall very good value for money.
This is a beach Hotel understand that before you come, alone on a private beach nestled in a pine woods on the edge of a cliff. We have stayed at many Costa Brava Hotels this is one of the best. Food-great, Location-outstanding, Value-good, Service-5 language receptionist kudos. It doesnt get much better than this. Can't say enough good things, AWESOME.

Very nice staff, clean pretty rooms, clean pool and the most beautiful view I ever saw! I hope I can come back soon. Breakfast was great. Once again, the staff is so nice and helpful!! The town is an easy walk with nice gift shops and nice places to eat.
Stayed for two nights in June. The beaches are private and very scenic. Hotel has a large private pool and a smaller childrens pool. Breakfast was buffet style with hot and cold choices.The hotel is located a small distance out of the main shopping and dining area of platya d'aro, but the walk to this area is only about 15mins and this is either via the road or along the beach.I suppose the added distance makes the hotel a more private place. Definately recommend it and would return.
Beautifully situated - can hear the sea from the rooms - ditto the restaurant, but insufficent vegetarian options. Within very easy reach of Platya D'aro for a variety of restuarant and cafes. Friendly, pleasant staff. We would certainly go there again.
