Experience was good. The hotel location is good right across from the beach. The free beach tram and bus service was good and was for all people staying at the Sentosa island resort hotels.
Siloso hotel is not bad since it is basically a resort hotel and you cannot really compare it with a 5 star. Food is excellent. We enjoyed our free breakfast. The staff are nice and friendly.
Staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. However, found the hotel expensive and certainly not up to the standard of a 4 star hotel. Could do with a revamp. What has left a sour taste is the fact that I am still waiting for the refund of my deposit which was taken off my credit card on 16th Nov and was not deducted from my account at the end of my stay and I am still awaiting a credit into my credit card.
Nice property and great location. Room smallish but clean and comfortable. Not in room much anyway because there is so much to do in the vicinity. Singapore is easy ride away on monorail and on the island are plenty of places to eat and things to do. Second stay here and will be back
The outlook of the resort is ok.. But the small pond along the walkway to the room seems dirty and cloudy...
It would be good to separate the booking of twin sharing and queen size bedding configuration.
Great location being on Sentosa. Great pool.
Room is clean but I think they need to change to 2 normal pillows instead would be nice instead of the 1 normal pillow and another rest cushion. Breakfast is not really that good, spread was ok only, it will not worth $20. I would rather walk slightly further to the cafes/bars along the beach for better ones for this price. The hotel external facilities such as the pool area, cafe area, etc needs a little upkeep. In conclusion, if staying for a night or 2 and for family it is not a bad place to put up.
The Siloso Beach Resort Sentosa is located on the quieter side of the island, a safe distance away from Universal Studios and all the loud, recently constructed tourist attractions. You walk in the lobby, which is a sort of treehouse, and then find yourself in a beautiful jungle oasis with a gorgeous landscape pool and waterfall. The hotel uses green technology for cooling and heating and has built itself up around the existing trees to make less impact on the environment. Our rooms were lovely and comfortable, the hot breakfast buffet was delicious (try to get there before 8:00, before the throngs arrive and eat all the croissants!) The beach is right across the street, and a jungle path leads up the hill behind the resort. We arrived after a long tour and flight and felt totally renewed and relaxed at the end of our stay. Highly recommended!
average facilities. usually packed because of its price. AC in our room not working so well. wasnt offered a different room. only book if on a tight budget and want to stay in sentosa.
It's free to using monorail to vivo city, very comfortable.
This is a great place to stay with a family. The staff are really nice, the views and location are great, and the swimming pool is simply magnificent. Highly recommended for anyone who likes to swim- or has children who want to spend all day at the pool. Good place to relax in Singapore away from the noise and the crowds.
We chose this hotel as a change from our usual city centre hotels as an opportunity to relax on the return leg of a round the world trip. We thought Sentosa, and Siloso Beach would makje a pleasing change. Perhaps it was the rainy season, but it did not live up to expectations. A very basic room, despite being classed as 'delux'. It also smelled damp, and did not improve with the air conditioning full on. Service was good - and the pool etc. was good, but the food was definitely average. We could (and have) eaten much better and definitely much cheaper in Singapore itself. Lack of communal waiting space also disappointing - we were reduced to waiting under an umbrella until time to set off for our flight back home. space Disappointing. It is very unlikely we would return there.
Smooth check in and check out with good assistance on sundry matters (Tracing lost mobile in the taxi, taxi bookings etc). Small but comfortable and clean room. Tiny TV...grrrr!. Open air breakfast buffet was enjoyable with friendly and courteous staff.
Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, well-equipped room. Large, picturesque swimming pool. Would stay there again.
Family friendly hotel. Staff very helpful and buffet breakfast was great. Over the road from the beach and the there is a free tram stop at the door to take you around the island.
The hotel seems a little shabby in parts, especially the roof garden, however this was well offset by the location, lovely swimming pool and friendly staff.
We stayed four nights at this hotel in the beginning of May. The room were of adequate size and quiet. The pool was the highlight of the hotel - simply amazing. I had heard that the breakfasts were not so great, but I think they were perfectly suitable - reasonable selection that changed day to day. Overall it was a good experience - close enough to the monorail to walk or take the free shuttle, and quiet enough to feel like you were at a resort.
This is a good place if you want beaches. It's a bit far out from central shopping.
The price of this hotel means that it is good value for money, although the rooms have a slight mildew problem the location and price ensures that this is a good place to stay.
