"This is an excellent hotel for an escape from the city. A dip in the pool at sunset, a walk on the beach in the moonlight, a clean, comfortable and quiet bedroom - what more could you want? As others have commented, the rooms are probably overdue for refurbishment but that certainly didn't bother us. One comes here for a quiet retreat - not to be seen in stylish surroundings." - John Wedderburn
"near Mui Wo - Central port, easy access if travel from Central Hong Kong island. Great view, long, clean beaches just in front of hotel. Room was spacious, staff was very friendly and helpful. Worth for price!" - Cheah Boon Khai
"Excellent for those who want to avoid crowded downtown. Relatively less expensive with enough room size among any hotels in Hong Kong. Normal service and cleanliness. The facilities were old, but a nice beach was just in front." - Anonymous
"Hotel in a good location near the ferry to Hong Kong (5 mins away)which takes approx 40 mins.
The staff are very friendly. The rooms are a bit dated but clean and tidy and the free air conditioning is very handy in the heat of HK.
There was no pool side bar but you could order from the pool and they would bring it out to you.
I would select a beach view room if you can as the other views are not that great.
There are some local places to eat which are a lot cheaper but the food in hotel is very good and you can trust it. The food outside was also good but the places were a bit shabby but it was China after all." - Anonymous
