SilverOaks Resort Heritage

Its a good hotel.Only thing I found wrong was they charged 3.50$ from my credit card and we did not utalized anything from fridge but i did not bothered to call them as stay was quite good.

Very 1970's so bit out dated for the price I thought. Lovely swimming pool.

On the positive side, our room was upgraded from a studio to a one bedroom, as there was one available. However, the room looked as if it had not been used in quite some time. ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE, LAUNDRY FACILITIES WERE NOT UP TO SCRATCH. THE DETERGENT DISPENSER WAS EMPTY AND THE POWDER WAS ADVERTISED AT A CHEAPER PRICE THAN WAS CHARGED. RECEPTION SAID "THE ROOM DIRECTORY NEEDED TO BE UPDATED".. THIS WAS NOT SATISFACTORY. THERE WAS "NO FAN" IN THE ROOM. THE OAKS WAS DEFINITELY NOT ONE OF THE MOST COMFORTABLE PLACES WE STAYED IN ON OUR TWO WEEKS IN NEW ZEALAND, IN FACT WE MENTIONED THAT WE HAD JUST BEEN MARRIED, AND THERE WAS LITTLE RESPONSE. WE WOULD PROBABLY NOT RETURN ON OUR NEXT TRIP. WE WOULD PREFER TO STAY ELSEWHERE. WE APPRECIATE BEING ABLE TO LEAVE FEEDBACK. THANK YOU. SHARON AND ALISTAIR CASTLETON

Good accomodation but recreational facilities not the best: tennis courts in poor condition, gym? - treadmill, not working stationary bicykle and four (4) free weights, swimming pool - O.K., souna - O.K.

Clean room, facilities average,rooms need upgrading, generally tired looking.Better priced accomodation for the money available.

Rather sad looking hotel, Spent two nights with my two kids in a 1 bedroom apt. 3 stars at best. Seems to be stuck somewhere in the 70's or 80's badly in need of a refurb.Would have checked out if I hadn't pre-paid.Baffled as to why [website] give this a "recommended Hotel".

Overall quite good but the constant cockroaches eminating from the base of the TV on to the wall and floor was really revolting-it even caused the TV to go on the blink which was fixed many hours later that day after a complaint to reception. Staff said they were aware of the roach problem but noone sprayed the room and we were there for three days. The deal of 3 nights for the price of 2 was a good deal

Motel was clean with helpful staff. Has good facilities but they are in need of a tidy up.

A little older but still tidy. Nice pool.

The spa bath wasn't working in the room and the private pools had holes in the walls so they could do with some repairs

Excellent & Friendly service at the in house restaurant and the food was excellent! One minor issue though and the office called after I had checked out claiming I had taken drinks from the mini bar. My guess is the room was never serviced properly before I had arrived!

Good sized suite for 3 adults. Bed settes seen better days. Shower & hooks on bathroom door too high for short people! Continental breakfasts good.

Despite outward appearances this place is very tired on the inside and could be cleaner. Was given vouchers for free continenatl breakfasts but only used one as the breakfast was so humble and desinitely not worth the $12 had I had to pay for it.

Good location and facilities. Only problem was our room wasn't serviced on one of the days but reception sorted us with clean towels etc. They were very apologetic. Would stay there again.

Room looked like it had not been vaccummed, however good location. Breakfast standard and location good. Would have been upset if I had paid full price for this room

Restaurant closed by 2115 when we checked in. No longer in Quality / Choice Hotel portfolio. Bit old and shabby but still good value.

The Continental Breakfast was a little restricted I thought. Some yogurt would have been nice.
