Getting there:The Singel Hotel is very easy to reach. There is a direct train connection from Schiphol Airport to the Amsterdam Central Station which takes less than 15 minutes. Coming out of the Amsterdam Central Station you cross the station square and turn right at the Prins Hendrikkade. After 200 meters you turn left at the Singel canal. You will reach the Singel Hotel in 200 meters.

Very good location, on the Singel canal, close to the station and to the Dam. Friendly staff. Basic, but good breakfast. I will stay there again. Highly recommended.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Located in a very central but quite quiet part of Amsterdam. Very good value-for-money, I would definately return.

I would recommend the hotel to anyone else and would certainly use it again on my next visit to Amsterdam! The staff were very helpful and spoke very good english.
as previous people said the rooms are small but functional- the bathroom is clean but needs updating. however the price location and staff were exceptional would recommend this for value & location but not sorted to those who want to spend time in their hotel other than for sleeping ....
Conveniently close to central station. Three old canal houses joined together, so has character. Some rooms have view over canal.
Had a lovely triple room overlooking the Singel Canal. Very good.
